RICHMOND, Va. -- Virginia Tech quarterback Marcus Vick was dismissed from the team Friday, the result of numerous legal transgressions and his unsportsmanlike conduct in the Toyota Gator Bowl.........

Well I will guess that he will either enter the draft or transfer to D-1AA (to avoid transfer rules).

Wouldn't be a terrible late-round pick for us, but do you think he'd go before that if he entered the draft? He reminds me of Adrian MacPherson--who also dropped in the draft due to character issues--but with more talent. (Of course, given Marv's recent comments about high character players, it seems more unlikely that we would pick him.)

Forget that loser, him and his brother are overrated.

So what does he do now, go to the draft or does this end his football career? Troubled as he is, he can play football

Wow. He was kicked off VT because he's an ****** and a punk.

While I'm not thrilled with the idea of Marv as GM, at least it assures that we wouldn't sign a jagoff like Marcus Vick.

True, and I don't really want him either, but you just get the feeling that a(desperate) team like the Raiders will pick him up.

Which is fine, he isn't a Buffalo Bill type player and never will be thankfully.

Hes a good player, probably first round talent. All these problems will scare the crap out of teams. Reminds me kind of of Maurice Clarett, without the year off. Plus when he got the chance to prove himself he played like crap.

We should draft him if he is still there in the 5th or 6th round because he could play WR or QB and has a lot of potential.

he'd be a terrible pick in any round

Merged with existing thread in VC.
Terrible idea for us to draft Marcus Vick. We don't need a player like him with his spare baggage on this team. I agree with Later about Marv wanting to bring character players to the organization and MV definitely doesn't fit the billing.
Sure, he'll be drafted, but there will be a lot of baggage being drafted with him.
