Nehemiah, thank you. I never really realized how much I missed the old place until recently, I really love everything about the area and want to do my little part to get others educated on things as well as those in the WNY to help restore the Old Gal (Buffalo) to her former beauty. I realize that I will probably never live long enough to see much of this but while I am here I will do my part to help.

Rick, I urge you to check out Buffalo Rising when you have a couple of hours to read the posts. It's full of new developments in Buffalo. There are many exciting projects going on here... you just don't hear about them much in the local news media. It will happen in our lifetimes!

Buffalo has too many natural and man-made resources going for it to continue to decline. People from more expensive areas are starting to notice the lowest priced housing stock in the nation. I think a new dawn is rising for the ol' gal!

My grandfather use to tell me all these stories about Buffalo when I was a kid. Growing up I took pride in where I live. I see old pics and I have old postcards from Niagara falls from the early 1900s. In the summer time I walk by the waterfront near the old ships during my lunch breaks. Alot of us say that Buffalo has nothing here but they take for granted how beautiful this city is
