had his suspension lifted by a Nevada judge. He may now re-apply for a boxing license.

Man, I was so hyped for Joe. Then that damned cossack got one good crack to the back of his head and it just about ended him.

Here's to a healthy recovery

I wish Baby Joe all the best, but cannot help but think returning to the ring after a subdural hematoma is nothing short of foolhardy.

If there ever was a time for a mediocre fighter like Baby Joe Mesi to have a legitimate shot at the title, what better time than now? In any other era, I'd disregard Mesi as a nobody. But in this sad era of heavyweight boxing, he has a legitimate title shot if he fully recovers.

Think about the the fighters out there.

Vitali Klitschko retired.

Audley Harrison should be renamed Fruadley Harrison.

Samuel Peter got exposed against a weak chinned fighter.

Wladimir Klitschko being the weak chinned fighter.

Monte Barret is average at best.

Hasim Rahman is 5 years past his prime.

John Ruiz is terrible.

Nicolay Valuev is not much better even though he resembles an extinct mammath.

Chris Byrd is keeps getting decisions he doesn't deserve.

Danny Williams is garbage.

Matt Skelton is garbage.

The best one of a lousy bunch, in my estimation, is Lamon Brewster. He's not terribly gifted or technically sound but he always seems to find a way to pull the upset. He's Doug Flutie's equivalent in boxing.

Hell, maybe even James Toney is the best, who's not even a natural heavyweight.

He has faster hands & better boxing skills than any current heavyweight.

Toney is very good though, however he can't fight for the one title (wba?) for like 5 years because of his positive steroid test in the fight against Ruiz.
