U2 Concert Pics...

<center>We arrived at HSBC Arena about 5:30, doors didn't open until 6:30, so out of boredom we decided to walk around the arena to kill time. We wandered up to this small group of like 20 people waiting outside the loading dock/receiving area and asked a couple what they were doing there. They said as far as they knew Bono and the boy's hadn't arrived yet and they were waiting for a possible close encounter. Some of them were standing there since 2pm. About 5 minutes after we got there a New York State police car turned the corner with a black Suburban following it, Bono was in the front seat. When they entered the gate, they hesitated for a second and I guess Bono decided on his own to come out and say hello, shake some hands, and sign some autographs. He kept saying that his voice was raspy.

I'm pissed because this picture is sort of blurry. I think I was jostled when I took it. I've never been "jostled" before. It can be a good or bad thing I suppose.
For instance, being "jostled" by a nice rack is a good thing, on the other hand, being "jostled" by a beer gut is a decidedly bad thing."

This is a good example of non-jostled picture taking. Looks like Bono took a red Sharpie to the hand, where's Rain Man's "Serious Injury" notebook when you need it?

That was an unbelieveable show!! But now that I've lived in Florida for ten years, having to wait outside in that cold for over an hour really sucked. My wife and I thought we had frostbite on our toes. I didn't get feeling back until about an hour after I went in to the arena.

But, in the end, it was all worth it! They seriously may be better now than they were 15 years ago.

Noc, you look like you were sitting right next to me. What section were you in??
