In school and sometimes at University we used to play hours of Skat, which is a pretty popular card game in Germany, I'm not sure if it is widespread in other countries. And I recently started playing backgammon, but haven't found anyone else yet who does it, and the computer's too good for me. :D

Wow, you girls play similar to me. I love Scat. Do you play where 3 of the same numbers is considered 30? I also played Rummy too many times to count. And to you BG, I played Pitch a long time ago. I remember it as much fun.

Board games: Monopoly, Sorry, and my favorite, Trivial Pursuit. I like playing Chutes and Ladders and Candyland with my nieces and nephew.

I also like Pictionary and Balderdash. And that game where you describe words to your partner, but they give you 3 words you can't use, I forget the name.

How good are you?not very. but it's fun to play while drinking. unlike go and chess, which require too much thinking.
