if you're the falcons, and finish outside of the playoffs, or go out in the first round, would you make a stab at bush?

they could throw a package including schaubb, a first and second rounder (or maybe next year's first given that bush is going to see a contract near 70 mil.) and a teams choice of duckett or dunn, and an extra player (roddy white?) or extra/future 3rd or 4th rounder?

if you're the falcons, i don't see why not. you'll be able to get an experiended backup in free agency to replace schaubb, and if someone takes duckett that leaves a lot of WR looks for bush and dunn, which isn't a bad thing. dunn has some similiarities to eric metcalf given his size, and if he was more of a 3rd down back and slot wide out, he'd certainly extend his career a couple of years.

if you are say the jets, how do you not pass this up. you get schaubb who is going to be able to come in and perform right away. if curtis martin is dunn, or they want a complement, dunn is great. a great weapon. or they can take duckett who is a brute, and is ready to see 20+ carries a game.

they'll be able to fill a need in the first round, and certainly pick up an extra 2nd rounder if they want it, and possibly a first next year. add in a a certain extra 4th rounder this year, and they'll be able to try and add some talent at WR and offensive line that can play right away.

it works for the texans as well, all thought not quite as well unless their new head coach doesn't like carr and davis and would prefer to clear house. getting bush obviously gives them an instant threat along with andre johnson, but they need a lot of offensive line help, and overall defensive problems. they'd have to take dunn in a deal to make it work. stocking up a first, second, and mayeb even an extra third from the falcons this year wouldn't be out of the question. they need a lot of help.

the 49ers aren't biting. unless they find a way to move alex smith for a first rounder. which isn't going to happen. alex smith is their man, and i don't think anyone else would want him at this point. reggie bush could make alex smith look like the man.

if denny green is around (maybe?) it's a toss up. he needs a quarterback, even though he has one, and won't play him in mckown. he'd love to have dunn, although, i'm sure he'd love to have bush twice as much. matt schaubb would blow up throwing to fitzgerald and boldin.

I don't see it happening, and what your hypothetical offer (Schaub, 1st rd, 2nd rd, Dunn, and an extra player) is a bit ridiculous in my opinion.

But...

anything is possible

There is no way Reggie Bush will be going to the Falcons, unless the Falcons trade up for their pick. The Falcons don't need a rushing game, because they have like one of the top 5 rushing offenses in the NFL. The Falcons need to focus on their defense.
