Actually any good bar has great wings... you are drunk and less critical but for a purpose visit for wings as a meal... I agree with Duff's

no way.. duffs are small... have you ever been to brennan's bowery in clarence/williamsville? They have the best wings in my opinion.. Anchor bar shouldnt even be considered in this conversation. Their wings are terrible..

I don't know if they were the best but the hottest wings I ever had were from Nino's in the village of Hamburg (are they still around?).
My wife thinks that Blasdell Pizza makes the best wings.

We have two Nino's out here in the Phoenix area, they're from back home area.
The reason we call them "Buffalo wings" is every restaurant west of NY calls and lists them as just that, Buffalo wings. Even KFC and Subway subs, they all refer to wings as Buffalo wings.

The anchor bar may not have the best wings anymore, to each his own, but you cant beat the "Home of the chicken wing" for nostalgia.

I had wings last month with a unique sauce... it was at "ZEB'S" on NFBlvd at Robinson Street. the sauce was buffalo with bleu cheese already mixed in... it was pretty cool.

Hey i've been gone for 19 years... there are many metamorphed sauces available and it took me 10 years to even try garlic wings.

When youre out west you have no choice much of the time. I make my own but don't always have time. I like to go to Ninos and Santisi's for beer and wings.
One thing about out west is they serve you Ranch with the wings, yuch.
I cant wait to get back home!

As a chicken wing "enthusiast", my personal favorites are at J.P. Fitzgerald's in Hamburg. They're perfect.
Duff's would be a close #2.

I got to go with Duff's.
i had the priviledge of living a block away from Duffs when I lived in Buffalo.
Another plus is they got cheap beer.

The Anchor Bar has the best Wings, the suicidal are great. But I was at Duffs in OP last night and it has good wings and some good looking scenery. Where the waitress at the Anchor bar mostly look like Sam Adams

Ah man those Brennan's wings are terrable. When we are in town we stay with my aunt in Clarence and they always order thouse over cooked pieces of crap. My vote is duffs for wings! Gram and Pop lived off of sheriden and we would walk up there for lunch.

My family are huge fans of the Anchor Bar - I live in Toronto but I make it a point to go there for their wings at least a couple of times a year !! I keep hearing rumours that they might open a franchise here, but it never seems to happen... Probably a good thing, since I would be in there at least 4 times a week buying wings .... I would get real fat real quick if that happened!!
