Louie is talking himself into a transfer.

Some key quotes:

"I just gotta focus on getting better. My time will come. If not here, it will definitely come somewhere else. I know I'm a talented player, I know I play hard all the time. Just because (Boeheim) doesn't see that, someone else will."

"I'm the hardest worker on this team and always have been," McCroskey said. "I have no explanation (for why I played two minutes). It happens; it's life. I'm just ready to get on here for however long I have until I graduate. I'm just gonna get my free education, that's basically it."

"I'd rather (Boeheim) not put me in if he's gonna put me in for a minute and pull me out," McCroskey said. "Especially here, I feel like people don't understand me. People don't realize how hard I work. People say you can't do this, you can't do that but I bust my ass every day. Nothing was ever given to me; that's the most frustrating part."

"I'm not a quitter," McCroskey said. "I don't care how it's looking today but I'm a faithful person. No one man can hold my destiny. It's up to me to destroy or fulfill my destiny. I feel like as long as I got that in mind, I'll be alright."

Louie may have just sealed his fate. Any guesses on where he winds up?

I think that McCroskey might be the 4th best guard on the team at this point, or at least the 4th most important.  He's not GMac, Devendorf is clearly a better offensive player, and Wright can provide much needed help at the point.  There are already two guys who can play the 2 and do a pretty good job there.  And if you want to talk about him playing some SF, there's this kid Nichols who's doing a pretty good job there right now too.  Louie's not the type of player who should be getting the majority of the minutes at any position. His assets are that he's a big guard, relatively athletic and a good defender. He also rebounds well for a 2 guard. Offensively, he's streaky at best. A shooting guard who can't shoot, from anywhere on the floor. Certain situations call for his game. I think he's best used when SU goes to the press or in man to man when the opposing 2 guard presents a defensive challenge. He could also be useful in situations where SU goes small and/or wants to get out and run, he can be used at the 3 for spells in that event. Unfortunately for him, GMac, Devendorf and Nichols also play the spots where Louie can play, and they're going to get most of the minutes.

I hope he gets right with Boeheim, no need for bad chemistry, plus he can do some things to help this team. I also hope he gets back into the rotation, but in a role where he's playing 10-15 minutes a night off the bench. GMac's gonna get his minutes, Devendorf is just a better offensive player in every facet, and Wright can help at the point. All three fit into the puzzle a little better than Louie does.

A transfer is certainly a possibility for him, though it would be for just one season.

His attempted showboat at the end of the Siena game was the end for him. You don't pull that crap in front of JB or you end up on his short-list. Not only that, but then he talks to the media later and rips JB. Of course JB isn't going to play you. Rather stupid moves by him all-around. Maybe he'll follow in Tony Bland's footsteps and head to San Diego. Either way, he made several bad moves and is paying the price for them
