As of now, they have Miller, Noronen, Pyatt, Briere, and Dumont out with injuries. If anyone else goes down, this team is in trouble just because all of its depth will be worn out. I realize that Briere and Noronen are back soon, but it still is a pretty scary situation.

I agree with you there.
Still, if we look at the glass-half-full thing about it, the Sabres have points in the last 6 games with the injuries. Maybe they needed that losing streak and the injuries as a motivation to step up. Let's hope it keeps going.

Yea and I would rather have injuries early rather then late.

agreed grapedrink! You want injuries later rather than sooner, now isn't the worst time to be bitten with injuries, as long as it ends soon..

That last part is the key. I hate comparing the real thing to video games, but this injury seriously reminds me of my nhl2k5 franchise, where by mid-season, I had to sign free agents just to field a full team. My roster had become so injury riddled, I didn't even have 18 skaters, and that was after calling up people from Rochester.
