The Rochester Americans home game in this promotion is the January 25, 2006 game vs the Mantobia Moose - who eliminated us from the playoffs last season so there is the revenge factor there. You would have to registar (its free) to take advantage of this deal. (Note: The Sabres don't have a game that evening - either at home or away - in fact they will be in the middle of a two week road trip - so you will probably be starved to see some LIVE pro hockey anyway. Also there is no conflict with any other local sports event that evening - the UB-Ohio basketball rematch is the next night.)

Awesome, I just registerd and there are no more tickets for the Amerks. Closest team with tickets left from Buffalo is Syracuse. I dont think its worth the drive there for a AHL game.

LB: Sorry about that! Saw the opening page about the promotion (before you have to register or login) and saw the Amerks game listed so I figured there were tickets left. Didn't think to actually log in and see if tickets were left, if I did, I would have saw that and not post this deal.

I got some Crunch tickets, but do you only get 1 ticket or more than one?

I received two when I took advantage of this promotion last year.

I got two tickets to a Rochester/Cincinnati game in mid-January on a weekday night. If there were 1000 people at the game, that would be generous. I could hear what the players were saying on the ice... and I was sitting in the 200s...

Speaking of Amerks games, are they having one here like they did last NHL season when we went there and played New Jersey?

I have not heard anything yet. I know TG said a few years ago he would like to do a double header in Buffalo. The Amerks playing and then the Sabres, so people would be able to see two games.

Just think if the Marlies and Amerks got the AHL's OK to shift one of their games to Buffalo...and paired it with a Sabres/Leafs game. Think that night would be fun? ;)
