Does Ryan Miller still qualify as a rookie?

yes he does. Other guys who qualify are Gausted and vanek.

i dont think miller does.. he played up last time there was an nhl season.... so no..

So? Gausted has a game under his belt as well. Miller I think still does qualify as a rookie even though he has had games before, Raycroft qualified in boston last nhl season. and he had previous nhl experience!

Crosby will win it IMO, he has 8 pts in 5 games.

so far, he has certaintly lived up to the hype

Another good prospect. I think either Vanek and/or miller will be nominted, but I don't think either will win.

I am still thinking Ovenchicken will take it unless Pittsburgh makes the playoffs then it is Crosby.

i dont think miller does.. he played up last time there was an nhl season.... so no..Miller does. Less then 25 games played, on entry level contract, under 27, parts of less than 4 seasons. Not having any one of those doesn't qualify a rookie. He has all of those.

Yep. The sabres list him as one of the three Rookies on the club.

Miller is.

IMO, there is no way Crosby doesn't win the award as long as he keeps pace with the others. The NHL would want nothing more to have their new face of hockey win that award.

The league wouldnt know what to do if Crosby DOESNT win it. Hell, its gotta be a tough day in Pittsburgh after 2 Penguin losses and the Stillers losing at home. I wish I owned stock in http://www.pittsburghbrewingco.com/downloads/wallpaper/ic5_800x600.gif

^LMFAO. I'd love it if Miller won it, but its still a little bit early for end of the season awards. It is up for grabs.
