Also Lindy Ruff said the franchise will have only 2 of these 3 goalies by this time next week.
Is this a trade showcase? What is it?

Where did ya hear Jeff? Do you have a link? What teams could use a goalie out there?

Miller isn't going anywhere. Noronen is on his way out. Let's hope Biron is next...

And how do you get rid of Mika? A trade would not make since because the Sabres would not get anything for him. If they tried sending him to Rochester I am sure someone would try to pick him up. I think Biron will be the one on the way out. If Miller is the starter, do you want the guy that has started the last few years as his backup? Plus Marty is the only one that is not Darcy guy. Both Mika and Miller were drafted by Darcy, Marty by Muckler.
This game will show how far Miller has came. It is as big as a preseason game can be. Plus this will mean that Mika should start tomorrow, and I would like to see him play. I was going to wear my Bisons jersey, but maybe I will break out the stars and strips Amerks Mika jersey.

You package him up. Hair cut, maybe put a bow on him...

Wouldn't we rather have Biron as a safety net for Miller rather than Mika?
Or is it that Biron has more trade value?

Cool! You going to be rooting on Heatley and Chara and Alfredsson? You should be easy to find.

No, because Biron costs over 2 million dollars while Mika only costs 650K.
If you ask me, that makes Biron the more difficult of the two to trade.

I'm convinced that the plan was to hold on to Biron while they took a long hard look at Miller. If Miller stunk it up they could send him down and still fall back on Biron. I think they gave Miller the Toronto start just to be completely sure before they send Biron packing. I don't think Mika was ever in the starting picture. He was penciled in as the back-up all along. Also, one thing I hadn't considered until Ruff brought it up a couple of weeks ago - they had to see how each of the three performed with their new equipment before making a decision of who to go with.

The Sabres have to find a home for Biron, even if its for that 3rd rd pick replacement sent for Lydman. It might not be until after clubs start the season and the first dozen games shakeout.

NO i like the Sabres better than the Sens, although I like Hasek alot, but I like the Sabres better, it wasnt a great game for the Sabres but they did well in the shootout.
