How were we wrong about Flutie? What he's doing in San Diego doesn't mean he do any better if he was in Buffalo or any worse.

If Rob becomes a starter for a different team and then he lives up to his potential will we be wrong again?

My answer is NO. What a player does for a different team doesn't mean he do the samething on our team. Would Kurt Warner be as good as he is if he was on Buffalo? No.

Flutie is overrated and a cancer on every team he plays on. He's not a team guy and he blames everyone but himself when the team loses and he's had only one statistically above average year 1998 and only becuase defenses weren't prepared for him. Rob is better. VP is better too The OLINE will be a top need in the offseason. The defense carried Flutie in Buffalo.

I don't hate Rob Johnson, I rooted for the guy and will still if he comes back, and I cerainly don't like the midget.I was always in favor of Johnson over Flutie anyway.But Flutie is gone and has nothing to do with me wanting RJ out.I just don't want to waste another season on the RJ expierment.I don't want to go through another season of not being excited about football.The guy has not done nothing in 4 years but take sacks and get hurt.I don't hate RJ. If he went to another team and did good, good for him.He has not helped us. I just want whats best for the team and I think that is drafting a QB and not signing RJ so we have the extra cap money.

I don't think the posters here hate Rob Johnson. I know I don't.
I supported him and was glad we got rid of the little cancer Flutie. I really thought with the midget gone Rob would come on. I was wrong. Same old RJ. A couple good games a year to keep you thinking "MAYBE".
I just think he has proven he is not going to be a good NFL QB> If the bills bring him back I will root for him because I love the bills but that does not mean I can't hope they don't bring him back. He sucks. Bringing him back would be wasting another year IMHO.

The reason this team has gone from 11-5 to 2-12 is because of the Lard ASS Butler that is out in SD with the little midget Flutie. TD made the right decision to start from sctatch. WE could have been average for years if he would have just tried to patch things up.I would rather tear it down and rebuild even if we had to go through a year like this one!

The argument that Johnson would win without Flutie over his shoulder has been proven wrong. And doesn't that denote weakness anyway? Weakness of mind, heart and weakness of spirit. The defense carried Flutie, surely they would have carried Johnson too? No? Why not? Please explain. This team will progress and go forward, but will Johnson be a part of it? When I see Rob Johnson play the words incompetent and inept come to mind. But he's also tantalizingly frustrating. I see the things that others see in terms of his talent and abilities, it just seems as if he's always waiting for something. Some people apparently can be kept warm by the fact that others are doing poorly. That however does nothing for me, I want to do well myself, I don't care how many people in other places are losing I wanna win!!
Rob better get off of his butt and do whatever it is that his fans say he can do
