Anyone here seen a Sox game at Fenway?
I got a couple tickets to one of the night Soxs/A's games in mid September...they're in the right field roof section 31 row A.
Is row A the first row?
Did anyone here take the tour of Fenway that they have there?
If I wear some Bills attire will I take a wicked beating?

I have been there, if you appreciate baseball history you will love it. I saw the Yanks thrash them back in '98 and it was a great time. As small as the Stadium apperas on Tv it's alot smaller in person and it's cramped(at least it was when I was there, I don't know if they have changed anything bsides the monster seats) but it's a great building and you can feel old time baseball in the park.

I'm planning on getting there next year. It's one of the 3 parks I want to see a game in at least once before I pass this mortal coil(Yankee Stadium and Wrigley Field are the others).

Thanks for the reply.
Yeah, most of the reason I'm going is to see the staduim before it get's torn down. I'm hoping to have a wicked good time.
Plus I want to hear people say **** like, "the kah is fah from the bah".

Actually, section 31 is in left field. Here is a link to a seating chart - if you click on the section, you will get a pop up with a picture of the view from the seats.

I went to Fenway a long time ago - it is a lot of fun, but small in every way.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm referring to the "ROOF" section.
Notice in the graphic you linked to just above where it say's "Gate B" (very small print) there is a green area that reads 21, 23 ____ 43, well that is the roof section...in RIGHT field. That section is odd numbered from 21 to 43. I'm in 31 which would put me about the middle of that area.
<U>HERE's</U> (http://www.seatdata.com/html/mlb_red_sox/section_mlb_red_sox_31rfrb_1024x768.htm) a crappy (as in I don't subscribe to their service) picture of the section I'm in.

I don't think they're going to say buh bye to Fenway for a while. Not as long as they can put seating in every possible area as they can.
Also,noc...depending on when you go,you can catch some minor league ball too-all except one team within a 3 hour radius is a Red Sox affil(Lowell is short season A,Portland's double A,and Pawtucket's triple A).

Sorry about that. I'm sure you'll have a great time.

Roof section is awesome!! Row a is the first row and you will not get any grief for wearing a bills jersey ( as I wore my McGahee jersey when they played Cincy). Take the tour it's 12 bucks but worth it just for the 406 club (look for the Billy Crystal photo in the resturant when they take you through it you'll laugh at what he wrote). You'll have a great time and if your going to eat before go to BeerWorks which is right across the street from the ticket office, they have great steak tips.

Thanks for the reply...very informative.
We plan on taking the tour, but right now they're not allowing field access (http://boston.redsox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/bos/ballpark/bos_ballpark_tour.jsp), I e-mailed them to see if it will be available by the middle of September.
BTW...I got those tickets for $90 a-piece...not bad considering what they're selling for.
Here's hoping the weather is nice.
