Quickly resolve the goal-tending issue. If they put Biron in there to start, he has 1 month. If were not is sight of .500, he HAS to be gone.

Quickly resolve projects on the roster. Guys like Connolly and Pyatt have the same ultimatum that Biron has, 1 month, maybe two, that's it.

Quickly trade or sign 1 top-4 defenseman and 1 depth defenseman.

Do no load the roster with too many rookies. IMO, Vanek and Miller are the only two slots we have right now. If someone like Pominville or Gausted challenge for a roster spot, we look to make room for them, even perhaps sending down a guy like Vanek if he's not producing.

I think to finish in the top 8 in the East would help.

I think Biron should be shown the door before the season.. he shouldn't have even been qualifyed, he's not a great goalie, he OK, but lets take our chances with the kids.
