Most Bee Stings

So what's the most number of times you've been stung (in a single episode)?

I ask because I had my terriers up the woods today and kicked up a ground nest and came home with 16, scattered around my shoulders, a few on my noggin, and a couple real painful ones on my knees.

I know my little girl (2 yrs, 10 lbs) caught a couple, but I'm not sure about my old man (8 yrs, 21 lbs). Maybe the old guy's smarter than me.

the story about bee's stinging once then die is a myth and a damn lie. me and my friend were going into his shed and my friend walked through the door when i noticed a huge bees nest right above the door and they were pissed.

i said to my friend "look". as soon as he looked the bees got even more pissed and started swarming. we booked it outta there and his sister from inside the house saw us running like mad men and yelling like crazy. what does she do? she locks the freakin door on us. my friend already has 3 bee stings, amazingly i dont have any.....yet. so my friend yells "open the damn door!!!!!!".

finally we get inside, my friend now w/ 2 more bee stings, me w/ none....yet. im walking towards his bathroom, standing in the doorway of the bathroom and boom i get stung in the back, quickly go to take off my shirt as the bee must've flown up the back of my shirt. as im pulling off my shirt i get stung right on the knuckle of my middle finger. i was very surprised to get stung again and as soon as it happend i kinda kicked my knee up in the air, but when i did i kicked my knee right into the corner of the door frame.......OMFG!!!!!! that hurt more than the bee stings.

anyway there was no other bee in my shirt, just that one. ppl try to tell me till they are blue in the face that bees die after they sting you and ill argue it all day

I mowed over a hive in some high grass while cutting a field to play football on, they flew up my pants, and all the sudden my legs were on fire, so I got to run back to the car naked, good thing I'm hung.

Bees won't die if the stinger doesn't pop out. If they get you real hard the stinger can become lodged in the wound (with the barb and all...). The stinger gets ripped out of their ass end, then they'll die.

So I'm still "stinging" (little bastards), but it's all good - at least they weren't hornets. I got nailed by one of those back when I was about 20 and it brought tears to my eyes.

Something similar happened to me. I was running through a field and I stepped on a nest. Can't remember how many times I got stung but my right calf was just a big, swollen mass of lumps. And I got a couple stings on my left too.

Can't blame them though, I'd be pissed if somebody stepped on my home. :niterider

When I was in like 4th grade I was playing a cheap version of stickball with my friend in a field. Then he hit one into the high grass, and when I was out looking for it, I thought it would be hilarious of me to pretend to slip and fall on the ball. However, when I did the purpose-slip, I happened to fall on a bee hive. I sprinted back from the field, coming away with luckily only 6 stings.

This even also happened to take place either the day of or the day after I got my braces (don't remember which), so for the time being I forgot about the pain in my teeth.
