View Full Version : How poorly will Flutie play this week? Any guesses!

I say 2 INTs. 1 TD and who cares how many yards vs. the 20th ranked yardage D and the 21st ranked scoring D!
This thread's dedicated to someone "special." :moon:

Unlike S.D., K.C. actually had a tougher schedule up front. Their D's improved since the beginning of the year. They're at home, where they've only beaten Seattle and Denver, however, they've also played Oakland, the Giants, Pittsburgh, Indy, and Philly which is a tough set. I think they'll definitely beat S.D. since if they do they'll be tied w/ them and have great shot at not being in the basement.
As usual, and as teams have figured out, stop S.D.'s run and force Flutie to beat you w/ his arm, which rarely happens! I think that'll happen again and I see possibly one of S.D.'s worst losses all year on the road where they play like crap in front of what'll figure to be one of the toughest crowds of the weekend.
Oh how grand it'll be if K.C. wins! From 3-0 and 5-2 and first place and "all the talk and hype", to "the basement!" What a shame that would be! What a fall all the way down the stairs into the basement...
I think we're in for a little more "entertainment" yet out there in S.D. this season... :elaugh:

I'm writing this after the 1st Q, but I would imagine that Gannon will have good game even though he hasn't done much yet. I'll say 250 and 2,1. Tennessee's passing D is hurtin'. The only thing helpin' them is that fact that it's a nationally televised game.

Yeah, I'm afraid to look! What did they say....
:drinker:
Probably b/c I called their individual's team performances down to a T before the season began:
L. Smith having less than 3 ypc and not doing anything near what he did last year.
Fiedler having more INTS than TDs and
None of their WRs doing nearly as great as any of them seemed to think and that Chambers would only come on in the second half.
I was slightly off on Chambers and on Fiedler w/ the TDs, but I didn't think he'd toss 18+ INTs either. I figured him for 12/15. One thing I just don't understand since their D isn't all that great this year, is how on earth they're 9-5. But then I just looked and it seems they haven't beaten on decent team since week 2 vs. Oakland in Miami.
Can you say round 1 PO blowout again? :pint:
