I just saw on ESPNNEWS that the phillies are shopping Jim Thome around to at least two national league teams...as a Phillies fan, GOOD RIDDANCE!

Thome just never has seemed to fit there in Philly. He is just another big time free agent in sports that went from being a superstar one place (Cleveland) to an injury prone, media whipping boy somewhere else. See Jason Giambi for comparison.

Maybe he'll come to the Cardinals? LOL. He could get things back on track in St. Louis.

I could see him going back to Cleveland if they wanted him. I remember him really not wanting to leave in the first place.

Well he's been somewhat productive up until this season, but not on the level he was in Cleveland. The Phillies have a good lineup if everyone were just playing to their ability. They are still in the hunt though, so maybe they won't be unloading Thome.
