I was watching an Italian cooking show & they made a salad with just 4 ingredients...
Fresh strawberries, sliced
Salt
cracked black pepper
balsamic vinegar!!!
Since the kids and I made like illegal immigrants this morning and picked @ 30 quarts of fresh strawberries, I thought I'd try it.
I was very surprised...you wouldn't think the sweet of the strawberries would go with the salt, the acid of the vinegar and the pepper.
Something different, anyway...

Strawberry sandwiches are supposed to be good. White bread, lots of butter, sugar, A TWIST OF PEPPER, and sliced strawberries.
Never tried it but if anyone wants to try. . .

Have you ever had a 'chip buddy' (snadwich made with fried bread and chips in the middle) ?

Not with fried bread, but I do like a nice chip sandwich, lots of ketchup!
Or a fried egg sandwich with brown sauce.
I'm nearly 30 now though, so I'll have to watch my metabolism rate (luckily the 20 cigarettes I smoke a day keeps the weight off for now!)

I just made enough to taste...
@ a cup of strawberries, a few shakes of salt & pepper and maybe 1 1/2 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar.
Let it sit for @ 5 minutes to combine the flavours before you eat it
