I was going to put a large sum down on my team, Team Discovery Channel, but we all know the US Postal Service team is going to win.

why is USPS even mentioned? They are not in it this year, that team became the Discovery Channel team.

When the odds are 10/11, how do you win? Sorry if these seems dumb, but I don't usually bet with a spread or line or anything like that.

Sorry if these seems dumb, but I don't usually bet with a spread or line or anything like that.Well in betting against a spread, when you win, you get your money back. Then you collect your winnings. (i.e. With a 10/11 spread, you bet 100 Chips and win the bet. Your winnings would be 191 Chips. 100+10/11*100=191)

This is betting against a house, not person to person.

The system only dictates the winnings. It would say you won 91 Chips. But "winning" implies the 100 Chips that were returned.

Hopefully that was clear.

shouldn't the bets be closed on this?

It makes sence. Just looks funny, I guess. The way I saw it, you lost money if you won, which made zero sence. Thanks for clearing it up.
