I just got in from seeing this movie and all I can say is wow, what a great movie. Beats the shiza out of the other four, even though there is no relation to them because this is the first Batman in a new series of Batmans. Everyone should go see this movie. It's the first movie in quite some time that I've actually left feeling pumped up and impressed.

My 5 year old says he's taking me to see it for father's day. He loves all things Batman. How bad is it, kid-scary wise, in comparison to the other ones?

The movie is amazing !! Best one of the 4 by a mile. Bale plays a very dark, scary Batman and the whole movie is very well done. I strongly recomend it. Not only for kids but all men. AFter all we all have a kid inside right ?

Not sure about IMAX. There are a few scary parts for the young kids. In the movie there is a hallucinogen used as a weapon, and the hallucinations would probably scare me if I were five. I'd compare those parts to the library ghost in Ghostbusters (I was 5 when I saw it). Pretty scary, but I loved Ghostbusters nonetheless.

Oh yeah, this one really is about batman, not the villians. And all the actors put in great performances. I just hope Chris Nolan re-signs to direct the sequel.

Its a good rental, but not worth a purchase, Its way too short. It seems rushed. They have alot of good ideas in it but they stay as ideas, they never get much further, though it does give hope that the sequel's game will be really good.

I thought the movie was really good, it told you where bruce wayne came from and how everything came about. The only knock I got is that they could have found a hotter love interest than Katie Holmes.

Oh and about the scary factor, there were a few parts that would scare a five year old,.... or a 22 year old woman. I can still scare the ish out of my girlfriend by wipering Scarecrow to her at night.
