Faceoff.com reports: The Buffalo Sabres had a roster spot to fill. You would think that with a team that struggles at times scoring goals, a high-scoring forward from the Rochester Americans would have been called up. Instead, the Sabres called up Mika Noronen, a goaltender. It is a move that has certainly caught the attention of the Sabres, especially the two established goaltenders: Martin Biron and Bob Essensa.

What do YOU the Sabres fans think of this move? Like it or Hate it?

There should be an option like you like it because Bob sucks but Biron is still #1

I'm happy! I think Marty was stepping up great but.....he needs a break once in awhile. Putting BOB in ugh...he hasn't proved ne thing to tme but Mika I definatly think is a quality backup and one day will be a starting for some team. (or has the potential)

P.S. The name bob for a hockey player just bothers me...hell if your name is bob you go my robert, bobby, etc...or change the name you go by like McKee did! lol just bob...it's too ordinary..bob the goaltender...lol Just my two cents...i felt like sharing.

I mean what threat was there that he wouldn't play? Essenssa was only signed as a backup and you could tell Ruff had no confidence in him.The best thing the Sabres did was to bring up Mika and shake up Marty,or wake up Marty!Let them compete and may the best kid win,whomever heats up then you can ride that horse as far as it can take you.But the thing that really sticks in my craw is that Hasek WAS that important! This club is lost without him and that blows,they could have shown everybody what they had as a team. All they did was flounder like little kids lost!
