I am listening to Brian Cashman right now on ESPN Radio. He says the Yankees payroll next year will be at or less than 2001's payroll.
LET'S GO YANKEES!

I like Tino better.
My prediction:
He is going to be a press nightmare during his first slump, criticize NY fans and media, and never recover.
Do you think he will open his big mouth to jeter or soriano like he did the the youngster on the A's?

I have a prediction:
Jeremy Giambi: .307 24 HR 86 RBI
Jason Giambi: .234 12 HR 59 RBI
Jason Giambi gets into a slump because he is on the Yankees and he will become crappy. His brother (on a team Im not exactly a big fan of, I only like one team anyway) does better than him, and Jason gets booed like hell when he returns to Oakland. It will be their only sell-out of the year, since the A's don't have a lot of hometown support. The Yankees will get beat by the Red Sox, and will miss the playoffs. As a result, Sterinbrenner will sell the team and the new owner will break it up, and the Yankees will be really bad in 2003.:)

I have a prediction:
Dolphins lose in the first round.

Hey, Jeter can't hit a HR either. Giambi will slump, and then get into a fight with the media and management, making it worse. He won't go to the all-star game, and will have the worst season of his career.
Yankees still cant buy a Championship, they have NO heart!
That's very true! And thank god the D-Backs beat them. I wanted Johnson to get a ring.:) I would have rather seen my Mariners there, but as long as the Yankees lose, it isn't that bad.

Don't worry, Giambi is going to have a career year in homers with that right field porch. My only worry is that come playoff time, how many fielding errors is he gonna have?
The Yankees should try to keep Tino anyways, just in case.

I hate the Yankees! I hate baseball, every year you know who the contenders will be. Yankees, Braves, Dodgers, Indians.
I refuse to watch baseball until there is some sort of salary cap or revenue sharing.
The Yankees continuously buy all the best free agents, they should be winning championships.
GO DEVIL RAYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :-)

The two teams played in the World series how many times?
A. Once, it was a series of 7 games to determine the winner of ONE world series title.
The DBacks kicked Yankee in the package and won.

You Arizero Fans crack me up! You just won your first World Series so you might as well go to Disney Land right now, because if you think your going to win another, your already in Fantasy Land. You're not going to get past the Cards next Year. Live it up now while you have the chance!

Firstly, I was born in NYC and I still live there. And I have always hated the Yankees, with passion. Not all New Yorkers like those dumb idiots in pinstripes.

Of course. The Yankees aren't loyal to their players if they could get someone else. Im surprised Steinbrenner didn't chase ARod, because if he could get him, he would get rid of Jeter in a heartbeat.

IceBlizzard, let me clue you into a little fact of life.
There are certain things that naturally, just don't go together with Dolphins and Dolphins fans. Like;
A Dolphin and passing a drug test.
Dolphins and winning playoff football.
A Dolphin fan and talking sense about baseball/sports.
I tell you this, to help you cope with your disability of being attracted to things teal and orange.
I hope it helps.

Last time I checked, our running back didn't have sex with a 15 year old. And we have won more super bowls than you guys ever will.

IceBlowhard,
Tell you what, I predict the Bill's will win a superbowl before the Miami Dopefiends win their next.
Now as far as that 15 year old girl thing. Well as my great-great-granddaddy used to say; "If she's old enough to sit at the table, she's old enough to eat."

.
Giambi career Homeruns at Yankee Stadium, 1. I bet he hits more on the road then he does at home.
And I bet he doesn't hit any against Oakland.
