I'd bring in anybody who can bring it consistently. Only missed two games.

He had 5.5 sacks in 30 games why would you want to bring him in.

Ya, and 3 sacks were against SF. I never even heard of the guy till now. At 6'4" 262 lbs, sounds like a LB. Must be slow too.

Where did you hear that he was going to be released June 1st? Seems like Denny Green would be giving up on him pretty quickly if that were the case.

He was a first round pick two years ago. I dont think he'll be cut.

We don't really need Pace. He might not get injuried but he doesn't look like a star to me.

The Contra Costa Times reports wide receivers expected to be released on or after June 1st are WR Johnnie Morton (Kansas City Chiefs), WR Peter Warrick (Cincinnati Bengals) and WR Rod Gardner (Washington Redskins). Other likely offensive castoffs are OT Scott Gragg (49ers), OT Todd Steussie (Tampa Bay Buccaneers) and OT Kyle Turley (St. Louis Rams); OG Matt Stinchcomb (Buccaneers); RB Charlie Garner (Buccaneers) and RB Chad Morton (Redskins); and Raiders QB Rich Gannon, who's expected to retire because of a neck injury. Defensively, waiver-wire candidates include CB Bobby Taylor (Seattle Seahawks), S Lance Schulters (Tennessee Titans), S Mike Logan (Pittsburgh Steelers), LB Mike Barrow (Redskins), DT Wendell Bryant (Arizona Cardinals), DE Calvin Pace (Cardinals) and DE David Bowens (Miami Dolphins).

I'd bring Wendell Bryant in for competition. He was supposed to be as good as Henderson, Sims, and Hayneworth.

I'd take both for depth. Pace has got to be better than Ritzman and Bryant has got to be better than Bannan(on def. that is.)

Holy Crap, Steussie, Gragg, Stinchcomb, Garner, And Bryant could all help out with the lines or depth...

True
Pace > Ritzmann
if Bannan is no longer of use as a G then Bryant would also win out that roster spot.

We don't take flyers on guys like this so I don't waste my energy voicing my opinion that they should.

I agree with all those choices, don't know much about Gragg tho.

How many stars have come out of ARz. except WRs. Bad front office. These guys need coaching up.

Please don't feel that we have to jump on these guys that are other teams' castoffs. They may have some name recognition because they have been around a while- and that's one point- they have been around a while. Before becoming too convinced that they are an upgrade here, look at where they came from. Consider that another player beat them out for a starters or backup role. Compare that player to the player on the Bills that you would want to replace. For example if a team has a bad pass rush, don't be interested when you see their 3rd string DE hit the street.

Do you know how many castoffs make it somewhere else??? No. 1 I'd say Jerry Rice, then I'd say Kerry Collins.

Kelsay has 4.5 in 32 games with an amazing level of talent around him allowing him to face single blocking the majority of the time. Why would you want to KEEP him?
