Who do you think will win this series?
This should be the best series of the conference finals.

You're right, it should be the best of the conference finals. But that's not saying much.
I think Miami will take it in 7.

Don't care
bitter?
i think detroit wins it regardless if shaq is healthy or not, however if it goes 7 miami does have a good chance.
that being said i think san antonio vs either phoenix or dallas will be an awesome series, better than an eastern conference slow down defensive slug fest.
they really need to get rid of these mugging style defenses, basketball wasnt meant to be played that way

bitter?
WTF's that mean? I knew my Sixers wouldn't make it thru 1st round, so now I don't care who wins. No bitterness at all. My opinion mean that much? Ok, I say the Heat, because of Shaq. And I hate all Detroit sports teams.

What's wrong with Detroit sports teams?
They're bad at baseball and they never won championships in football.
They rule hockey and basketball.
Two out of four ain't bad.

I said I HATE all Detroit teams. 2 out of 4? Dead Wings are old and decrepit, if they play next year they'll be a 6th place Western team. Pistons I'll give you. The rest are beyond mention. Give it up.

Honestly,I dont care since my Bulls are out,but if I had to pick Id say Miami in 6.

This same Detroit team throttled the Shaq/Kobe combo last year.
If healthy, I think the Shaq/Wade combo is better, but O'Neal will not be 100% this series, or so it seems. Miami needs him full strength to win it.
That being said, Detroit in 6.

i think that its gonna be a close series all the way through. i think that if shaq is healthy the heat are too good for even the pistons best defence in the NBA. the combination of D Wade and the diesel is better than kobe and shaq were and look what they accomplished... heat in 7

Detroit.
The Shaq factor is overrated. His body is starting to break down.
Ben Wallace is THE most intimidating defender in the NBA.
And Alonzo Mourning is an ass hole.

Until someone beats them, Detroit is the team to beat. Shaq is no longer the player he once was, but Wade is playing so well right now. I think it's gonna be Detroit in 6.

Couldn't agree with you more Shiva. Detroit showed last year that they can handle Shaq (healthy). I think that Tayshawn Prince is going to give Dwayne Wade fits all over the court. I think Detroit wins it all again this year.

Shaq averaged 26 points last year in the series against Detroit.

Sure, but he's not the one that won the title. Plus, holding him to 26 points isn't so bad. What did Kobe do last year? Just curious.

Miami in seven if Wade plays healthy. Miami's chances begin and end with Wade. Shaq can be "limited" by the Wallace duo but if Wade comes out and puts on a show it'll be the Heat in seven. It should be interesting to watch Tony PArker and Bowen try to handle Wade if Miami advances

Wade is not better than Kobe, at least he's not better than pre-arrest Kobe.
I think it goes 7 but the officials are refusing to let Miami lose so I think the Pistons are better but right now i'd say heat in 7.

Honestly man, how much have you watched of either? Dwayne has proven to own teams with and without Shaq. I don't remember Kobe ever having stats other than pts that compared to Wade.

Wade also had 2 bad games against Detroit, how often have you watched kobe? Kobe is a jerk and not a great teammate but he's a great basketball player, Wade is getting there but he's not at Kobe's level. Kobe can do more things than Wade can. He's a better shooter and defender, both can get to the basket but Kobe has more ways he can score. Waqde just beats guys w/ quickness and creates space to knock down the 17 footer, Kobe chas an array of moves to free himself and has better range on the jumper. Maybe a few years from now wade will move past him but he's not there yet.

I think the Buffalo Bills will win this series. Something tells me that Mike Williams is ready to take over and take out Ben Wallace. Add to that the fact that TKO is a dunking machine and we have a championship team. Just watch. GO BILLS!

hhhhmmm, well, I'm going to have a big debate over this, but I'd say Wade's better than Kobe was when Kobe was in his second year. Wade had a crazy rookie season and I believe he could win a championship without Shaq, KOBE WILL NEVER WILL ANOTHER TITLE...

Is he better at the same stage? Yes but he's not better than Kob at his peak. Let's not forget Kobe was one of the first guys to come out of HS(the first of this generation, ther were guys decades ago who did it) and he was a very skinny kid. He was not NBA ready, wade came out after his junior year of College. he was more mature and ready to contribute right away. Kobe wasn't near his ceiling in yr 2 while I think Wade is close to his.

Where do you get that from my post? He wasn't physically mature yet like Wade was coming in so he had an advantage to be better quicker. Wade has a long way to go to reach Kobe at his peak.

Gaaa.. I am a huge Heat fan for many many years now. I will say that had Wade been 100% there is no way the Pistons win that game 7.
But injuries happen and thats part of the game so congrats to the Pistons.
The way I see it even if the Heat advanced there was no chance beating the Spurs with an injured Wade. He is what makes the Heat offence go.

hey, I'm just screwin' around...I never liked Kobe and I'm glad he'll never win another championship, unless he ends up being teamed up with another 7 foot 350 lb. BEAST...Wade will win one without Shaq...that's all I'm saying...

That's ok. I'm not a Kobe fan either, as a matter of fact I don't like him at all and I do like Wade but I have to be honest.
