Trip To The Tampa Game

Folks. Several of us are going to the Tampa game on 9/18. So far it is me, Victor7, coastal, and gr8slayer. Is anyone else interested? Serious inquiries only please. I lived in Tampa for 7 years and loved it. It is a great town and has some incredible beaches!

I'll get the tickets so we all sit together but if you screw me I'll make sure your name is mud around here. LOL And I live in Florida so I'll bring the tailgate materials (grill, coolers, ect..).

I need to find out ticket prices. And I also need to explore hotels. I'd like to get a hotel on the beach. This is still the offseason so the prices should be pretty good. I figured we would party Friday and Saturday (Seafood on the beach at Crabby Bills!!) and then a tailgate Sunday morning.

Gr8slayer is flying in from Texas and Victor7 is flying in from Mexico City. I have pretty firm commitments from them. And coastal lives in the Tampa/St. Pete area.

You must be the irritating SOB that does 65 mph in the fast lane. It's 80 miles. And averaging 75 mph it is about 1 hour 15 minutes.

I'm interested based on price. I live in Gainesville which is about 2 hours from Tampa. Would probably come down for the tailgate and the game.

I-4 is often called the "world's largest parking lot." There's no way you can average 75mph from Tampa to Orlando. But it's still not a teribly long drive.

Pete - I'm in, but I'll have my own ticket. I'm all for meeting up Saturday night. I will have a game Friday night so I can't be there that early.

Folks I have talked to staff members here and they feel that it is best that Billsbackers handles this. They have more resources and are adept at handling this situation. I'll keep you informed.
