I give the guys formulas to make different liquid mixes, ranging from Popsicle mix, to sherbet, to Fudge, to white IC mixes. After it's made, I test them for fat%, sugar%, bacteria. After being ok'd, the mixes are run through freezers which add cold air, fluffing the liquid into what you know as ice cream. Then I test the finished product for all of the above same things before the items are shipped.

What is the best way to work on my pile driver? I used to use it back in college but I tried it the other night and I think I gave my wife a concussion.

I work for the carnival company that hosts Old Home Days in Williamsville every year. They travel all around WNY.
I have big hands and I smell like cabbage too.
Really good money.

I love telling people I'm a carney. They never believe me then when they discover it's true they act all strange.
I never realized how many connotations were involved either :D "Do you travel around and live with them?" Nooooo "Are like, your family members 'entertainers' " Nope. "Is there a bearded woman" WTF? "Are the games rigged?" lmao
I wake up in the morning, get ready, go to the location (williamsville, lancaster, buffalo, amherst etc), go to my ride/game (for example, i may be at the giant slide handing out those burlap mats), wait for customers, take a lunch break (no, lunch is not cotton candy and a caramel apple), go back to work, finish up, go home, continue with life.
Ever been to disneyworld? Darien Lake? It's the same thing as someone working there and seeing if you're seat belt is tight on the roller coaster or working the dart game. It's basically no different than working at a cinema or batting cages or golfing range.
and I still have all my teeth at this point (fingers crossed).... I even shower on occasion.
and I make more money than almost all of the people who are asking me these odd questions. :D
I have no clue where the stigma on "carney's" (i call myself that because of the reaction i get from others) came from. This isn't the circus either, and their is no "bearded woman."

There is no such thing as a HIGH SCHOOL Carnie. You are a HIGH SCHOOL STUDENT working part time. Do you travel with them year round? I doubt it. Don't make up stuff. There are lots of people who work games at Darien Lake or elsewhere, they aren't carnies.

The cool thing about the Range is that your occupation does not come into play and therefore has no bearing on you as a poster. A truly equalizing effect.

Nobody travels with them year round... not even the owners (who live in Clarence and are part of the elite class)
I guess none of us are true carnies, but like I said, I like telling people that because of the strange reaction I get :D
