Basically Kurt Angle and Shawn Michaels put on one of the greatest matches ever, it was sick.

Batista beat HHH

Cena defeated JBL in a really short match for a title

Trish won, Akebono beat Big Show in the Sumo match

Eugene came out and started talkin how it was the 2nd greatest moment in his life. Hassan Muhammed came and interupted him and started beating on Eugene. Hogans Music hit he came out and tore it up

Edge won the money in the bank match. Although Shelton Benjamin had a really great spot. ran up a ladder leaning on on ladder and clothslined Jericho from the top of the ladder.

Austin stunned Carlito Cool on Pipers Pit. than him and piper had drink fest and than Austin stunned Piper.

Taker beat Orton

Oh yeah and RM Jr beat Guerrero

Match 1: Rey Mesterio def. Eddie Gurrerro

Good solid match, both men were flying high but it did seem as if Eddie was a bit off, he hasn't wrestled a cruiserweight style and pace in years, which might account for it.

Match 2: 6-Man Ladder Match, Edge vs. Christian vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Benoit vs. Jericho vs. Kane

Very high intensity match, many big spots including Benjamin's jaw-dropping clothsline up the ladder and onto Jericho. Edge didn't do much but won the match in the end, crowd was very hot.

Match 3: The Undertaker def. Randy Orton

For Taker', who has arguably only had 3 good WM matches ever (XIV, X-Seven, X8) this was not bad. Orton carried much of the tone but Taker was solid and had another great entrance. Big Tombstone win gave the fans all they wanted.

Match 4: Trish Stratus def. Christy Hemme

Hemme was not ready for the big time, she was sloppy and a danger to herself and Trish in there. Trish did her best and got the win, but this match should not have been on the show, a US Title or World Tag Title match or even a Cruiserweight Title match would have been better

Match 5: Kurt Angle def. HBK

A classic confrontation. Both men were at their best, and put on some big spots including HBK flying off the ring onto Angle on the SD! Announcers table. Big Angle slam off the top rope was amazing. Angle deserved the win.

Match 6: Akebono def. Big Show

This was a classic sumo match, both men showed a lot of strength but it was hard to watch since both men are so fat. Akebono won and should have.

Match 7: John Cena def. JBL

Bradshaw sucks. This match sucked, but at least he finally lost the belt. Cena got a huge pop and carried JBL for the 10 minute match. He should have a long reign.

Match 8: Batista def. HHH

A very solid finale'. 20 minutes + of high intensity and big moves. Crowd very hot for both entrances, HHH sold the beat down well. Batista controlled the action and showed he was ready for primetime.

Extras: Hulk Hogan beat up Muhammad Hussan and posed around, very well recieved.

Hall of Fame inductees got a big pop

Piper's Pit with Austin was funny. Both men swore, drank beer, insulted one another and beat up Carlito Caribbean Cool when he came out. Austin handed out a bunch of stunners.

Overall it was a great show. Every WM since 2000 has been good, and this was no exception. 5 solid matches plus a very hot crowd made for a memorable night.

I must say that it about time we have 2 new World champs!

But here's the question: How long will Cena and Batista be the champs in their brands? I think Cena will last longer than Batista,IMO. Plus....then you have the brands doing their annual trading of wrestlers between Raw and Smackdown.

Also I'm glad the Undertaker is back to being,...we...the Undertaker. I've watched on and off since High School and he was always one of my favorites. But a few years back all the sudden he was a biker. No hat, no trenchcoat, no bells or chanting, it sucked.

Stick with what works.

Let's hope HHH doesn't win the title back tonight on RAW.

Will they get the fan's attention? Benoit and Eddie couldn't and their title reigns were short. If Cena and Batista can get fan support then expect a long title reign. Personally I think both will drop the strap after 2 or 3 pay-per-views.

i think if the wwe wants to push guys like batista and cena, they need to have these guys defend the titles frequently on raw and smackdown and not include them in tag matches(which is quite lame btw). if they do it right these guys could be good and i think batista should defend the title tonight against edge, that would be the proper way to push these guys imo.

in fact just got myself thinking, ya know how edge has been so eager to get a title shot? well i think it would make sense to have him excercise the option of the contract so quickly. they could also screw him over yet again by having HHH interfere DQing edge in the process, viola new fued HHH and edge

Benoit & Guerrero's title runs were OK,but factors out of their control did them in IMO. As far as title runs go,it also depends on how they're booked and who they get as opponents to feud against. Cena,IIRC,has been fed the entire Smackdown heel roster. Batista hasn't. We'll see what happens when the draft lottery occurs...if it does.

I thought it was a great pay-per-view. What I don't understand is why no tag matches? Not even one. With all of the guys on the roster not involved from week to week, why can't the WWE use them and build a great tag division. Guys like Val Venus, Billy Kidman, Maven and Ricco to name a few. Back in the day, I liked the tag teams better than the singles. Teams like the Hart Foundation, Killer Bees, The Bulldogs, The Rockers. Use these guys in the back as long as your paying them to be there. Put some good teams together and stick it out. It can only help the weak story lines that have been played out over and over already.

You know what would be really cool? A tag team tournament ppv, instead of the stupid ecw ppv which will probably bomb. You could set up some great matchups of current and past teams. Matches like the Outsiders vs The Outlaws (NWO vs DX), RVD & Sabu vs Dudley Boys, Mega Powers (Hogan & Savage) vs Rock & Sock, Rockers vs Edge & Christian, ect. No titles on the line, no story lines, just a battle of a bunch of tag teams to be crowned the greatest of all time! One night only thing. You would have the nostalgic factor and you could off set the age of some of the individuals with the ability of the younger wrestlers. If they did it right and planned carefully you could have a really kick @$$ ppv!

you wont see a tag team division, vince realizes that "joe every day fan" really seems to like to see 2 top single competitors teamed up in a main event on raw or smack down. this way they can give the viewers a taste of an upcoming ppv main event by involving them in a tag match.

having a tag division would take away from vince's set up for ppv's and clutter the air time w/ tag matches and take away from some of their much needed T 'n A time.

Yeah, old school tag teams with managers were the ****. Managers alone aren't the same. Flairs pretty cool, but hes more like a cronie.

They need more Mr Fujis, MJouth of the Souths, Paul Bearers, etc... Especially for the guys who suck at talking.
