Word is Adrian MacPherson held a private workout for nfl scouts and knock them dead. I would love to see him come to buffalo but I don't know if it is feasible. What do yall think?

He's boom or bust. he has potential to be a star in the NFL. or , he could return to the AFL. i'd take him starting in round 3, but i think he could be a surprise pick, and actually go in round 2. If not for his checkered past, he'd be #1, or #2 rated QB. he has far better potential than smith/rodgers, but , he;s boom or bust

If he is there after the third round I think it is a no brainer to take him, he has too much potential to pass up.

I agree that he has tremendous upside, but if JP Losman pans out as we hope he does, it would be a colossal waste.

If we could get in a later round and groom him and trade him if JP succeeds. If JP falters then we would have aviable successor.

To draft him, groom him, and thne trade him at a profit would require that he get a fair amount of regular season exposure. Realistically, that's not going to happen. The only rationale that I can accept for drafting a guy who is probably not going to play is that your enough unsure of the guy you've pegged as starter, and you like the idea of having a second long term possible solution on the roster.

It could turn out to be the same situation as WM. We didn't need him but we took bc of his talent, and look what happened. Now we got ourselves a hell of a RB and he is only in his second year as a starter. I hope Jp is great and we don't need another QB for 5-10 years but you never know how things will work out, it would be nice to have a backup plan

Yeah if the guy is available in the later rounds you would have to give it a look. The guy has tremendous athletic ability. And I'm sure Mularkey can find a way to use him. He could be the next slash.
Realistically though the guy probably won't last long enough for us to take him.

A kid linked to gambling and thrown off the Florida State football team (who don't exactly throw guys off for spitting on the sidewalk). No Way! I really like the way the kid committed himself after everything that happened. I saw him play here at Bradenton-Southeast HS. He was incredible. But why would you want someone with that kind of baggage on the Bills?
I know mistakes happen and we should forgive, but he was accused of stealing a blank check to cover gambling debts. Gambling on his own team. Let him have a great career and let him be eligible for the Hall of Fame (not like Rose), but I don't want him on the Buffalo Bills.
Would you want Art Schlister (sp?) on the Bills?

Come on, he was an 18 year old kid, give him a break. He buckled down and kicked ass in the Arena league and proved himself to scouts. At least he is not a crack head

Listen, for all I know the kid could wind up a superstar and a pefect role model when it's all said and done. You could say, "I told you so" in years to come.
But, for me, I would always have the question of gambling in the back of my head if he screwed up.
Sorry.
