For what it’s worth, here’s my Bills mock draft. I made a few assumptions, no trades, compensation picks are not factored in and I used GBN’s top 250 ( http://www.gbnreport.com/2005top100.htm ) to determine availability at each pick.
Here goes:
2nd round pick #55: Adam Terry OT 6-8, 325 Syracuse
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Adam Terry
It's the o-line stupid (pt.1). He has all the physical and intangibles tools you could want. Under the tutelage of McNally he could soon blossom into a franchise type LT. He may need a year before he’s really ready though, which is the only reason he might still be available. I’d like to see him compete for the LT spot his first year, but probably would have him sit behind Teague for a year.
3rd Round pick #86: Chris Spencer C 6-3, 310 Mississippi
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Chris Spencer*
It's the O-LIne stupid (pt.2) He could probably step in right away at Center. I’d have him compete in camp with Tucker. Next to Baas, he’s the next best Center in the draft. I also like Wilkerson.
4th Round Pick #116: Anthony Bryant DT 6-3, 335 Alabama
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Anthony Bryant
Classic run stopper. The Bills could use him right away in short yardage situation in a rotation and eventually could replace Big Sam and be a nice complement to Edwards.
5th Round Pick #147: Kevin Everett TE 6-4, 250 Miami
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Kevin Everett
Great size, quickness and has big game experience. He is a little raw, but under Mularky could turn into a complete TE, has the size to be a good blocker and the quickness to be a threat as a receiver. I am not sure why GBN has him rated so low, but I’ll take him using it as my guide for availability.
6th Round #182: Tyler Jones PK 6-1, 210 Boise State
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Tyler%20Jones
The 2nd best kicker in the draft. He has a strong leg, and even if he is not ready to take over as the PK right away, he could be carried for a year for kick offs and long FG’s.
7th Round # 213: Stefon Lefors QB 6-0, 210 Louisville
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Stefan%20LeFors
Great athleticism and questionable size to be a franchise QB, make him a good fit behind JP. He’d have no problem running an offense which features roll outs and takes advantage of a QB’s athleticism, which is precisely the type of offense that the brain trust is working on for JP.

I could live with Terry, but I would hope they look elsewhere. I just cannot see the Bills drafting a place kicker. I know the 6th round you are basically getting what you pay for, but I see the Bills going for depth. I will say a RB like Karl Paymah or a guard like Dylan Gandy.
Good job though.

According to recent value boards I've seen Terry might be a bit of a reach in round 2. Other than that, looks good. Maybe Buffalo could trade down into the top of the third and get Terry. If not there are some other decent tackles that carry a third round grade.

i like it. i'd like to see a CB instead of the PK. otherwise, good value picks. Terry is a rising.

one more thing to consider, searching most mocks, there are predicted to be 7 OL gone before our first pick, so terry will probably be the best available.

Lefors, the most feared name in Mall security. 144 collars, all convicted. I even here he has a confirmed kill.

After the addition of the comp picks the Bills have dropped to to #122 in the 4th, #156 in the 5th,
#197 in the 6th and #236 in the 7th. They still have picks #55 in the 2nd and #86 in the 3rd.
All but the 7th round pick would remain the same. The Bills with the 7th would probably take the best available athlete with an eye towards special teams. RB Anthony Davis from Wisconsin is a little fireball at 5-7 200lbs. Other possibilities are Ben Emanuel FS 6-3, 213 UCLA, Ike Ndukwe G 6-3, 325 Northwestern, Gabe Franklin CB 5-10, 185 Boise State.

A little fireball. Could be a special teams demon and part of a rotation to fill in for Mcgahee when he takes a blow or god forbid goes down to injury as a third down back. Great quickness and questionable size with a durability question mark. Mularky would have fun finding ways to slip him into the offensive game plan. He is so short, defenders really can't find him until he is past them.

I like the mock, but I'd rather take a guard like Kemoatu than Spencer.

Using the GBN rankings, he would be gone in the 3rd. The Bills could take him in the 2nd, but I think the value at LT drops steeper from 2nd to 3rd than both Guard and Center do. Right now, the Bills could use upgrades at all three, but it seems to make more sense to go best available LT with the 2nd, and best available G or C in the 3rd. The only exception to this I would make is if Baas is available at #55. The highest rated Guard option that would be available according to the rankings, would be Dan Buenning. I like Spencer, Wilkerson and Jason Brown at C.

With Kevin Everrett. I dont feel hell be around in the 5th round. This guy was doing very well till he got hurt, Hes a good blocker and has good hands and spped take him in the 3 rd or fourth a big help to our Offense

I agree that he probably should go earlier. I strictly used the GBN rankings in doing this exercise, and was suprised to see him ranked so low by them. I generally respect their ratings, but agree they have him too low. But, within the rules I set for myself, he was there and I grabbed him. I really want to see the script of players I layed out followed in that I feel the talent seems to break down best, in respect to the Bills needs, in the order of LT in the 2nd, G or C in the 3rd, run stuffing DT or pass rush specialist in the 4th, offensive weapon in the 5th be it WR, TE or backup RB, and athletic special teams guys who can add some depth after that.

at our #2 pick, the top center could be available, or the #2 guard. there's good value/need with our first pick

Unless somehow Terry, Brit and the rest of the top LT's are off the board or Baas is there, I'd go LT. It's the harder position to fill and more critical to get a prospect in here this year. I think Teague is an adequate short term solution, but would really hesitate to rely on him beyond this year. Of course more can happen between now and the draft, but I think quality Guards and Centers go 4 rounds deep this year, and LT's barely go 2.

Hey admarc I love your first three choices in the draft (Terry, Spencer, Bryant), but I am not sure if Spencer will still be on the board when we select in round 3. The only thing I see different is selecting a WR like Brackens or Jackson in the 5th round instead of Everett. I think Euhus will be a good, reliable TE for JP with a good season under his belt.

GBN has updated their listing of the top 250 prospects, taking into account individual workouts. http://www.gbnreport.com/2005top100.htm
Since I used it as my guide for availability, I thought I'd update it. The biggest change is Chris Spencer will not only not be available for the 3rd round, but not even the 2nd.
Here goes (ADMArc Mock 3.0):
2nd round pick #55: Adam Terry OT 6-8, 325 Syracuse
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Adam Terry
He has all the physical and intangibles tools you could want. Under the tutelage of McNally he could soon blossom into a franchise type LT. 3rd Round pick #86: Anthony Bryant DT 6-3, 335 Alabama
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Anthony Bryant
Classic run stopper. The Bills could use him right away in short yardage situation in a rotation and eventually could replace Big Sam and be a nice complement to Edwards.
4th Round Pick #122: Jason Brown C 6-3, 313 North Carolina
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Jason Brown
Would be good value at a position of need in the 4th. He has great strength and size and would do well under the tuteledge of McNally. Ben Wilkerson C is also a possibility here, but he has had some health issues that have dropped him on most boards. Kevin Everett as we suspected is also rated as a 4th rounder now, so if the Bills want a quality TE, he could be the choice here.
5th Round Pick #156: Joel Dreesen TE 6-3, 255 Colorado St
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Joel Dreessen
Great size, sure hands and would be a force in the red zone. Needs work on his blocking and is not much of a threat to split the seam. He could be a good long term compliment to Euhus. He is raw, but under Mularky and McNally could turn into a solid TE. To me this pick, be it TE, WR or RB should be dedicated towards giving JP another offensive weapon to work with. If it's a TE or WR, I'd prefer the pick to have some size to compliment Evans' speed.
6th Round #197: Reggie Harrell WR 6-3, 215 Texas Christian
http://www.nflfans.com/draft/2005/showplayer.php?key=Reggie%20Harrell
Great size/speed combo. May have some injury concerns that have dropped his value.
7th Round # 236: *Damien Nash RB 5-10, 220 Missouri
The Bills should take the best available athlete

In general I like it.

The Bills will go OL in the 2nd round. Its almost a guarantee. I'm still holding out hope that we can get Baas.
