There better than the vacancies that exist. none of them are top notch, but hey, we need depth.

...none of them are top notch...
Top Notch?
They are NOT even Rot Crotch.
Let's do what we should have done for the past 2 years and draft OL on the first day.

Yeah, let's leave the LG and LT positions open to a rookie and a scrub, or better yet, two rookies.
JP won't live to see mid-season.
Neil, Riley, or Brooks would be an upgrade over what we have at T opposite Big Mike.

Two first day drafted rookies under the OL GOD McNally would at least give us hope if we are patient.
These FA OLs that are left are really rejects that will get overpaid in this sellers market.
I agree we can't relie on the scrubs or "converts" on our roster today.

i feel we should sign 1 more veteran offensive lineman, and then draft 1 high, either 2nd or 3rd rd. if we do that, we'll be fine.

Neil is already signed and he is top notch.
Riley is more than adequate and top notch and so is Garza.

I think folks are getting a little to worked up at the "names"
- They are veterans
- They have been starters
Victor Riley
Roberto Garza
Vaughn Parker
Bennie Anderson
I would take any of these guys

I'd be pretty happy with Riley. I almost wonder if something's wrong with him as he hasn't gotten a lot of interest so far.

I'm no Len Pasquerelli of ESPN, but Victor Riley is an excellent LT whose made numerous Pro Bowls for the Cheifs. Bring him in for a workout at least, what can it hurt? Courtney Brown will probably sign with Snyder's Redskins, who has officially annoited himself as the George Steinbrenner of the NFL. Brown is a risk, but I think he would thrive at LDE for us, as opposed to RDE, where he played for the Browns. HEY DONAHOE, drop some cash and sign one of these guys before you get the Boot.

I would not mind seeing the Bills looks at Neil, Anderson, or Garza.

yeah, we are definitely waiting for the draft...I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Td take an OL with our first choice and maybe even two of our first four choices...either way we can't expect much unless we trade up, 55TH overall doesn't give us a whole lot of options.

Ethan Brooks is awful, i live in Bmore. The OC never could run ground plays to his side. We would be much better off with Price

Sign courtly brown and bring in Bruce Smith as his trainer, see if Mr Brown is up to the challenge.

aside from this being another bizzarre, unrealistic post, what on EARTH does it have to do with available FA O-Linemen?

Unrealistic? I rather get Brown than another OL. Our OL is just fine.

There will be many, many, many, many, many, more cuts before camp starts. Do you not remember how and when we signed Malloy? Settle down and wait and see what happens. If we go into camp with these holes then cry about it. :judge:

That's the thing, I think TD is waiting for June first cuts to find another L. Milloy. I would trade Henry and a pick for the two Arz. first rounders Clements and Shelton.

i just love the "first day drafted" euphemism for: "we don't have a pick in the first round".

with any trades we make, if we can have 2 2's or 2 3's, we can have a very sucessfull first day. this draft is not good at the top, but lots of good depth in the middle.
