I'm stuck at work and miss not only Jake the Snake Roberts on Raw, but I also missed the damn "one night only" Rockers reunion. I've been waiting over a decade for that and I miss it...$hi+!!!

yeah something tells me jake is still a coke head.

its too bad he is/was one of my favorite wrestlers all time. he was viscous and sadistic and added a sense of realism to his charecter.

two matches that stand out in my mind were ones that happend in providence RI, sat nights main event when he ddt'd steamboat on the concrete

the other was also here in providence. the local news station did an interview w/ jake before his match w/ hulk hogan . i was expecting a real interview seeing as it was being done by the local news but jake was in full charecter. the interviewer asked him a question and jake was like "ya dont understand im not after his title, i hate hulk hogan" then proceeded to write in marker on a mirror in the background "i hate hulk hogan" and then threw a chair at the mirror.

i was psyched when i saw that cuz this was going to be my 1st live event. jake won by count out cuz he did the same thing he did to steamboat and ddt'd him on the cement, awesome match!!!

The rockers reunion was awsome too. I don't watch wrestling very often anymore but when I heard all the classic guys fro my youth would be on I had to check it out.

It was cool watching hbk and jannety come out to the orig. music. It was cool they even hopped over the ropes when it was over. Man i so wanted to see damian. I wish he coulda hit the DDT but it's all setting up Ortin's failure at W21 against taker.

it would be cool to see them join up for a bit and go after the titles, only to see janetty turn on michaels for payback

or for that matter i wouldnt mind seeing some more tandem teams like the hart foundation , bulldogs instead of seeing single guys teaming up

...or bring back a newer version of demolition

You know what would be really cool? A tag team tournament ppv, instead of the stupid ecw ppv which will probably bomb. You could set up some great matchups of current and past teams. Matches like the Outsiders vs The Outlaws (NWO vs DX), RVD & Sabu vs Dudley Boys, Mega Powers (Hogan & Savage) vs Rock & Sock, Rockers vs Edge & Christian, ect. No titles on the line, no story lines, just a battle of a bunch of tag teams to be crowned the greatest of all time! One night only thing. You would have the nostalgic factor and you could off set the age of some of the individuals with the ability of the younger wrestlers. If they did it right and planned carefully you could have a really kick @$$ ppv!

It was interesting to see The Rockers again, and even more interesting to note that the two had better tag team chemestry than most of today's thrown together teams. Janetty himself still looked to be in good shape and hit some nice moves including a perfect dropkick. That team would be interesting to see out there again, but Michaels is not at that place with his character anymore, I think it was a one time only ordeal.
