Alright,

If we sign DeMulling we have to go after an OT w/ our first pick in the draft.

I don't like the thought of moving Teague to the RT position, let alone the LT spot. But I have this feeling that the front office is weighing the possibility.

Mike Williams makes way too much money to play RT, but he's too fat and slow to switch to LT. Unless he is totally committed to the weight room this off season, and years to come, he is a freaking liability right now. He needs to take a pay cut, he’s killing us. If he sheds 25 pounds and can dominate the LT position then he’s almost worth the money, but DOMINATE is spelled with all caps.

With that said, I think we go after Baas if we don't sign DeMulling.

I think we package Henry w/ our 2nd for a late first. Then pick up either Baas, or one of the top Tackles, maybe Kalif Barnes- Look for Indy at 29 or Philly at 31 to take Henry and our 2nd.

The LT position is scarier than the LG position. Baas maybe better than DeMulling long term, and if we go that route we need to sign a FA who can hold down the LT position (short of a Mike Williams miracle.)

If you check most current value boards there is no OT in the draft rated as a second rounder. If Buffalo picks an OT at 55 they will be reaching big time. I agree that OT is a need and Buffalo should be looking to draft one, but the guy they need will probably be available they they come up to draft in the third round.

I think that's why he said to trade up. ;)

Unfortunately it's hard to disagree, but at the same time I really want Nugent and Matt Jones.

Would Terry be a reach at 55, or do you think he wouldn't drop so far. I've seen him listed as a postential first rounder, but then I've read his stock is dropping and he could fall to the third :confused2

I didn't see that about the trade suggestion. I'd be happy to trade Henry, but he is making himself almost untradeable with stupid demands. If it happens, fine, but I'm not holding my breath. Khaliff Barnes is a great athlete at the LT spot, but very raw. I don't think we'd want to count on him playing this year.

If Buffalo can't trade up, I think they could probably get a tackle in the third of about the same quality they could get by reaching in the second. Adam Terry might be available then. If not Terry, then Wesley Britt or Jeremy Parquet are possibilities

As much as I like DeMulling, The thought of a rookie starting at C or LT is a lot scarier than a rookie LG.

The question is, is there a decent LT out there to be had in FA? People have mentioned Stockar McDougle, but he's a RT.

The thing is, if we get Baas to start at LG, then we have to address the LT position through FA. Unless Teague or Williams moves there.

If we sign DeMulling, our options are Gandy, Williams, Teague, or draftee to start at LT.

If there's a FA LT out there we're better off not signing DeMulling, and spending hte money on a tackle. Then pick the best G or C, but I'd like to go after Baas.
