"Almost 1 year ago (3/23/04) I was involved in an unbelievable automobile accident. My car (2002 Subaru WRX) was rear ended by an 18-wheeler while I was stopped in highway rush hour traffic. He pushed me underneath the trailer of the 18-wheeler I was stopped behind, his truck then ran up over the top of my car. I was pinned in a twisted pile of metal, which 10 or so seconds earlier was my pride and joy, unable to move. Rescue crews used the jaws of life to extract me from the wreck. It took 30 minutes which seemed like a life time. I was rushed to the local trauma center and got the twice over from head to toe. I had NO life threatening or serious physical injuries. The doctors, nurses, emt crew, fire crew, police, and everyone else that was involved could not believe that I not only survived such a destructive accident, but I was "OK"."
