i know we need to sign players to fill holes for this years losses, but more importantly we need to fill gaps for losses we are going to suffer in the future....

Look at how the eagles solidified thier secondary with Brown, and that other guy, in order to let Vincent and Taylor go... that was some smart Managment, and allowed the transition for the Birds to go smoothly...

We need that sort of planning in order to create, and maintain a dynasty.

Most likely within the next 2 years, we are going to need some serious help at the following positions:

WR:
if Reed doesn't step it up, he's gone
Same with Aiken
(2 spots)

Saftey:
Reese, and P.P are most likely gone this year or next (sooner the better)
and if Wire doesn't step it up, we can't keep him just for special teams.. (or can we?)
(2 spots)

RB:
We're gonna need a suitable backup to Willis.. concentrate a 6th round pick to this... unless we keep Burns who i think can fill a non-injury(barring any serious injury to #21) void
(1-2 spots)

QB:
Matthew's just doesn't cut it... especially if Losman is as frail as he's let on
(1-2 spots)

MLB:
Fletcher will soon demand a lot of $$ and Haggan isn't going to fill that role anytime soon
(1 spot)

Corner:
You know TD is planning to resign Clements.. he needs too...
Mcgee is stepping up nicely as a #2, but Thomas, and Greer aren't cut for that role yet, Heck, they are still being debated on being suitable nicklebacks...
(at least one spot- veteren needed next offseason)

-We are solid at DE as long as Ritzmann, Kelsay, or Denny can get their head out of their preverbial ***** and step it up
-DT is backed with a 4 headed beast... (bye adams, once your contract is up)
-OLB, how low are you willing to resign for Posey?? Stamer is showing he can handle starting duties in the near future
-FB, Shelton, don't leave us, we need someone solid to hold that position for more than a year
-TE Euhus is the future, Campbell is the present, Neuford is gone!

Last but not least... O-line...
Coaching faulters have made this area a disaster.. Puccilo should never have made the team...
Good to see Tucker stepped it up
Teague is overrated, but able to do the job... (too much $$)
Williams (see above)
Bye Jonas, thanks for the years of injury and frustration (you did your job, and you will be successful)

We need to overhaul the line, we were in a prime position 2 years ago to set this line up to become a strong force while most players were still young, and able to conform, but poor coaching (G.W.'s staff) killed the procedure before the saviour (mcnally) could work his magic...

Now if you managed to read this entire one liner thread, kudos to you!

The Eagles are a great organization and plan well when it comes to salary cap and replacing older players. I don't think the Bills have reached that level yet. The Bills organization have had mixed results when it comes to free agency and the draft. They have done well to build a good roster but have missed out in the QB position. Bledsoe was a good filler but they should have drafted a replacement earlier than last year because Bledsoe was not going to last long being the stiff he is. I like what our organization is doing and have faith they will build a consistant winning program again.

Of course. Hopefully one will step up. Aiken is in his 3rd year and Reed is in a contract year

Saftey:
Reese, and P.P are most likely gone this year or next (sooner the better)
and if Wire doesn't step it up, we can't keep him just for special teams.. (or can we?)

Wire can be kept as a #3 S if ST's play warrants it. Prioleau and Reese are expendable

RB:

(1-2 spots)

Burns is gone, Williams will do ok. If TH does not get traded we have our backup

QB:
Matthew's just doesn't cut it... especially if Losman is as frail as he's let on
(1-2 spots)

naturally

MLB:
Fletcher will soon demand a lot of $$ and Haggan isn't going to fill that role anytime soon
(1 spot)

I view Fletcher as a team guy. He was steal deal when we signed him the 1st time, maybe he'll stick around and help us a build the championship team

Corner:
You know TD is planning to resign Clements.. he needs too...
Mcgee is stepping up nicely as a #2, but Thomas, and Greer aren't cut for that role yet, Heck, they are still being debated on being suitable nicklebacks...

Greer and Thomas are solid nickelbacks who should get better. You can never have enough quality DB's.

-We are solid at DE as long as Ritzmann, Kelsay, or Denny can get their head out of their preverbial ***** and step it up

Leave Kelsay out of it, I'm impressed with him and I know he'll be getting better

-DT is backed with a 4 headed beast... (bye adams, once your contract is up)

Youth is King. We'll need to re-evaluate and make moves in the near future, not this year though.

-OLB, how low are you willing to resign for Posey?? Stamer is showing he can handle starting duties in the near future

Posey is solid but replaceable, Didn't evaluate Stamer but its interesting that you've placed some praise on hium. That's encouraging

-FB, Shelton, don't leave us, we need someone solid to hold that position for more than a year

Shelton shouldn't be too hard to resign.

-TE Euhus is the future, Campbell is the present, Neuford is gone!

We need to continue the TE search, but I think if Euhus comes back he'll be real good. Campbell is solid

Last but not least... O-line...

OL is definitely a priority. We have a lot of unknows on the roster, which could mean we have some diamonds in the rough. We definitely need to bring in a solid player in FA and another solid OL in the draft.

Kelsay sucks. We're going to have to find a legit defensive end pretty soon.
