Detroit media is reporting that talks are going on

Jeremy Roenick: "What the hell Bob, what are we paying you for?"
Bob: "I want to control the NHL."
Mike Modano: "Will I be able to feed my dog?"
Bryan McCabe: "There are hundreds of kids coming up who are going to be National Hockey League players. In the end, they deserve a fair shot at a solid marketplace and a chance to earn a decent living. Are you doing that Bob?"
Eddie Belfour: "I will pay you a billion dollars to talk with Bettman."

that belfour line actually made me laugh out loud.
