So as I have boasted (and I doubt many care) we signed the 9 an 10 best recievers (Carlos Thomas and OJ Murdock, respectively) at South Carolina Gamecocks. And I was reading an article, and found this pretty fascinating ...
'One of the events that sealed the deal for Murdock and the Gamecocks came at the basketball game he attended at the Colonial Center while on his official visit.
"All of the recruits went to the basketball game that Saturday night and all of the sudden the crowd started chanting 'we want O.J.' and I was like 'Oh my God'," he said. "I couldn't believe what I was hearing because I didn't know they knew who I was. I mean I was really scared when they started doing it because it excited me that much. I had chill bumps all over my body." '
This is typical for Gamecock fans. I remember when I was a student there .. we did the same thing at a basketball game for one of our lineman ... Jabari Levey ... and he came. It's just a great atmosphere ... thought I would share it with you all, :D
