Why are so many people pushing this guy for Coach of the Year? Am I missing something?
I picked the Jets to win the division before the season because I thought they had the best players. Heck, they had the best team last year, and missed the playoffs only because of a brutal road schedule that included Oakland, and a Baltimore team that they outplayed in week 17.
Very good OL, great RB, very good DB's, young&talented front 7 and servicable QB&WR's. Arguably the most complete team in the AFC on paper when you look at the Raiders suspect front 7.
Then you got these same people saying how badly the Vikings are underachieving just because they have Moss, Carter, and Culpepper? Guess what, the rest of the team sucks. An OL that has been killed by FA, no RB, and absolutely no talent whatsoever on defense. If anything, Dennis Green has gotten this team to overachieve in years past.
Just another example of how "hilight film ability" dictates media sentiments.
