i know, i know. you guys must be loving this. sabres played pretty well lastnight. the leafs basically handed them the game. aki berg gave you guys two goals. revenge wil be mine later in the season.

last night i came to the conclusion that the leafs are below average without cujo. TERRIBLE defense, SLIGHTLY above average offense. cujo can win any game for you by himself....but if he goes down for any period of time....the leafs are DONE!

i agree with you on the defense, but our O is above average. cujo is a legend, he will be starting in the olympics now hat patrick roy has dropped out, who is starting for the states, richter?

you know some of us do go on vacation during AMERICAN holidays you silly canadian. I was actually at that game. Ahhh how sweet to see the few Leafs fans who showed up stumble home. Sad looks on their faces, long waits on the bridges to cross the border. :) Made going back home all the more enjoyable!

revenge will be ours, anyway you are in last place.
November 26th, 2001, 11:32:14 AM
that's alright. you guys were beat by a last place team. must feel horrible since empty regular season games are all maple loafs fans have had to cheer about since the 60's.

The last time the Leafs won was in 1967, but if you consider the metric conversion and the exchange rate then that would be 1999. Or is it 1899?

You have one of the most beautiful and culturally diverse cities in the world, but you have a perpetual loser of a hockey team.
Best Players;
Daryl Sittler
Lanny McDonald
Borje Salming
Ian Turnbull
Mike Palmateer
too bad they never won a Stanley Cup.

I'm putting my money on the Cup landing in Detroit.
Hasek want to win before he retires.
If Scottie Bowman wins one more, I think he gets to retire the most successful coach in hockey history
and how many more years can they keep players like Yzerman, Shanahan .... together, before they retire or it becomes too expensive.
Then next year ... The New York Islanders.
Isn't it ironic that two expendable players like Hasek and Peca are making major contributions to winning teams.

yeah, what happened with peca? how come you guys let him go, i know it was partially finacial, but there must have been something else, the sabres really blew it last night, so did the leafs. i wish we had lindros.

My team is the Minnesota North Stars. They haven't lost a game in eight years.
