1) He seems to find a way to choke in the playoffs

2) His team is so set on him getting the record that they never run in the red zone; wich cost them 4 pts and almost caused 2 INT returns for a TD.

3) Did you see the goals he set for himself this year? No mention of wins, playoffs or a SB.

That's why Brady is better, and has beat manning what? 4 of 4 times now?

Of course Brady has beat Manning four times, he has a Defense.

Is it? So what your saying is Brady would be winning SB's without the Defense? I think not.

I would love to have Manning as our qb. Indianapolis is the luckiest team I know all because they have him.

just when i think you know something about football you post nonsenses like this

They run the ball in the redzone (hence the Edge getting a rushing TD from there yesterday). The Colts score points their Offense does their part.

If his team was so set on getting him that record they would have thrown at the end of last nights game instead of taking a knee inside the five.

they asked him specificly about PERSONAL goals if you think he doesn't have winning the super bowl as a goal your a moron.

The Pats are better than the Colts, this isn't Tennis and it isn't one-on-one.

How do you get knominated for most Knowledgable when you post nonsense like this.

Something tells me Belichick has a thick file on all of Peyton's deficits, and that his staff has been compiling game plans for weeks now that will exploit these flaws.

the edge has 9 TD's rushing (which is on pace with his average for his career) and is second in the league in rushing, so you are right actually they are ignoring the run

Brady has a defense to bail him out when he screws up. Manning doesn't. If you look at how Brady played last year in the playoffs against Tennesee and Indi, 2 weak defenses at home, it was actually pretty bad. I'm so sick of Brady being the hero when he doesn't deserve it.
Manning is easily better than Brady. No contest. he's about to break the TD and QB rating single season records and he has the Colts at 11-3, one game behind the Pats, if you want to talk about wins. Oh yeah he has one of the worst defenses in the league. Right no QB in the league can touch Manning.

good one mouldsy. absolute crap. that's why u post it in these forum and not on the main board. otherwise nobody would think about nominating u for most knowledgable. :puh:

I think Antowain Smith is a better running back then Barry Sanders and Rob Johnson is a better QB than Jimbo and ... and Mike Martz is a head coach ... oh **** ... u got me on this one :gag:

Have at least the guts and defend yourself.

lol I am a little surprised by all the anger. Apparently the Colts are everyone's 2nd love?

Well he proved me wrong last Sunday, what can I say? (somewhat.... like I said, I love watching him play QB but at times he comes off as a little selfish with his actions)

When I wrote that, he had just attempted 3 goal line passes, 2 should have been intercepted.

I thought it was dumb play calling and it showed that he was motivated by the record. The guy has thrown 20 TD's from 3 yards out this year...

but that's because it was working. Props to Peyton for recognizing that they wouldn't be able to do that last Sunday and running it.

He still needs to perform come playoff time to be the best though. You think Peyton wouldn't switch positions with Brady? 2 rings or the TD record?

and I am still baffled by his goals for the season... all it was were stats, which can be a representation of your team doing well but that's not always so (see Brady, Bledsoe). I hope it was just incomplete reporting on ESPN's behalf.

He said if it ever got to a point where the TD record was distracting his teammates it would really bother him. He said he would just like to tie the record because Marino is his hero and he would like if it was jsut him and Marino with 48 TD's. He really doesn't even like to talk about it. It sounds to me like the record is more important to everyone else than it is to him. I'm sure they were just personal goals. He wouldn't put stats above winning.

Manning hasn't proven that he can win "the big one"....but at the same time, put Peyton on the Patriots, and we might be singing a different tune.

Manning would easily have won the big one, if he had a better defense. I think he's the best quarterback in the league.

I don't know if he'll be the best in history, but he'll definitely be one of the best of all time.

I think I see what Moulds is saying. I watched that Ravens game and he was forcing throws in the red zone trying to get the record instead of running the ball.

But overall Manning is one of the best in the league and will be a hall of famer.

However, he hasn't won the big one yet, or even been there. A defense does help, but before last year he did choke in the playoffs. Often.

Manning is clearly a better QB than Brady.

Another "fan" that thinks the QB is the only reason a team wins or loses. It isn't boxing. It's not Brady vs. Manning.
Heck, they are not even on the field at the same time! How can they be head-to-head?
I guess Joe Namath is a better QB than Jim Kelly?
Or Rob Johnson? He won a SB. Kelly never did.
Peyton Manning is the best I've ever seen and I've seen some good ones.
