hey i just bought tickets to Ireland in june, i'm heading over to watch the world cup games in some pubs. you guys should see the mess when ireland plays in the world cup. it's absolutely ridiculous, i will come out of a bar with guinness all over my head. win or lose it's gonna be awesome.

I havent been to Ireland, but was visiting family in Liverpool a few years back when Liverpool played Newcastle for the league championship (match made in heaven). I never drank so much in my life as I did withe the "scousers" (wannabe irish) that night....It was insannnnne.

ironically enough i am a huge liverpool supporter, michael owen is the greatest striker on earth, trust me i will pounding back plenty of guinness on the streets of Dublin.

You're going to Ireland, huh...any travel tips? My wife wants to go there for a trip. I have no urge what so ever, but I'm more than happy to send her and the kids over there for the summer so I can drink and fish while she's gone :D

I've done a little research, but it's quite intimidating planning a trip overseas.

i'm staying with family, so i can't really give you any acommadation tips. are the kids older that 15? if they are make sure they hit the pubs fr the world cup matches then it wil lbe a trip to remember? as for tips, make sure they all have a few pints of guinness to acquire the taste. and makes sure you tlak to your wife everyday, those dirty old irish man can be quite sneaky:D
