Is it just me or has this been the most horrible bunch of games thrown together in MNF history? These games suck! I refuse to even watch the game tonight Chiefs vs. Titans. Talk about a crap game.

Yeah, these game have been bad. Next week's game may be the worst in history. Patriots and the Dolphins. Man, that is going to be ugly.

Who are the idiots that put these games together? They just make me sick.

I haven't seen a MNF game since the last one the Packers won on MNF this season, and I don't even remember who they were playing or when ...

I don't know if you can blame them for scheduling the Patriots and Dolphins. The NFL didn't know Ricky Williams would retire just before the start of the season. If he didn't, the Dolphins would be so much better. The NFL needs a system where they can put the best matchups on Monday night.

It was either the Titans or the Panthers and both were freaking HORRIBLE GAMES!!!

No they just need alittle freaking variety. How many damn times have the Packers been on MNF this year? Three times? I know two for sure because I have them on tape. Who the :censor: wants to see one team that many times?

Yeah, I hate how the NFL falls in love with just showing a few teams. The NFC teams need to be on so much less on Monday night because the NFC stinks.

The next TV contract will have some MNF changes in it, if the networks and the NFL can agree on exactly how to do that. But basically what I read was that the last 6 weeks or so will be determined sometime as the season unfolds. The only problem is that FOX and CBS don't want any of their marquee matchups taken away and put on ABC because of loss of advertising revenue. You can't blame them. Stay tuned.....

This is why the league is in discussions to make the Monday Night game determined more or less on a week-to-week basis. This happens every year - they schedule Monday-nighters based on what they think will be marquee matchups. But as we've seen the last few years you just can't tell who's going to do what.

That was a good game, but overall, the matchups on MNF have not been good.

Despite the crappy teams playing, last week's game was fun. Today's game however not so much if you ask me. I might miss a monday night game for the 1st time in years

Hold on, the game tonight could be pretty good. You 've got one of the top offensive teams in the league with one of the most exciting runners in Priest Holmes going against Steve McNair, who's always exciting to watch.
Oh, wait a second...... :D

I know, I know you have to look long and hard for a reason to watch this game.

I would rather see the Bills vs. Bengals this MNF.

With the exception of the Browns game and the second game against the Patriots, any of the Bills games this year would have been more entertaining than most of the MNF drivel this season.

The Chiefs were supposed to do well this season, so they got 2 MNF's. They were 13-3 last year.

Who cares? Even with the Chiefs doing good they are a boring team to watch. I would rather see the Falcons and the Panthers on MNF.

These games are not put together week by week. They are set before the season. Its hard to have hindsight.
When the schedule came out, a Chiefs-Titans game was a must see, and so would a Pats-Dolphins game.

Some of you guys act like MNF is doing this on purpose. Remember, they WANT a flexible schedule. Now that we are in the "worst to first" era, no one can tell who is going to be the hot team from year to year?? Just don't be bitching when a couple years from now you have your arrangements all set for a big Sunday afternoon Bills/Patriots game and then a month prior.... it's moved to Monday night totally screwing up your travel plans.

I think your point is precisely the reason why this MNF move that the network wants is never going to happen. Not because of your travel plans, but because of the teams. You can't just willy nilly switch a game from sunday to monday without considering the impact it has on the team. Coaches would freak out, and don't even think about the bitching that's going to happen if a team gets shifted to monday and then loses the week after because they got shorted a day of practice.
It's tough enough to do schedules and make hotel arrangements months in advance, without having to consider the possibility of changing at the last minute.
Not going to happen.
