I love the Grinch and Rudolph. As cheesey as it may sound, there are life lessons in both, especially Rudolph.

"Rudolph," hands-down.
It was made in the early 1960s, and it featured Hollywood liberal indoctrination at its most classic.
The whole point of the show is to celebrate the non-conformist: Rudolph, Herbie the elf and would-be-dentist,the entire Island of Misfit Toys and Bumbles the Abominable Snowman being the prime examples.
And if you watch the show closely enough, you can see how Hollywood took a slight jab at authority figures: the ass hole reindeer Coach; grumpy, bossy Santa; and even Klondike Cornelius the capitalist gold-lover (who was redeemed by the love of Bumbles).

You've got to love "It's A Wonderful Life."
In the space of a few moments, Jimmy Stewart chugs down some booze, gets into a fight, drives drunk, has an accident, and flees the scene -- all after first attempting suicide.
And then he finds he is in Potterville, a wild, boozy, cheap-whore of a town that no doubt would be the community of choice for most of us Rangers.
Heart-warming Christmas stuff.
