OK - Turkey is the obvious choice, but...

What else do you serve on Thanksgiving? What are some of the basic staples of your meal, or, is there anything that you serve that is a family tradition but not usually associated with the holiday?

Yeah, the pumpkin pie is the best part of the meal. And I love having the hot turkey sandwiches for the next week or so.

We'll have turkey, stuffing, smashed potatoes and gravy, corn, pumpkin bread and pumpkin pie with whipped topping or ice cream (or both), deviled eggs, sweet potatoes...I'm sure I'm forgetting something. :D

My favs:

- Turkey (White or dark meat)
- Stuffing (I absolutely LOVE it! YUM!)
- Corn
- Mashed potatoes
- I was going to put chocolate pie,but we have my cake to eat this year so thats just fine. :D

Waldorf salad:

3 or 4 apples, unpeeled, cut from the core, and chopped into bite size pieces (about 3 cups)

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 cup sliced red grapes (seedless)

1/3 cup raisins

2/3 cup chopped celery

1/3 cup walnuts (optional)

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1 tablespoon sugar

(x 10 for my family)
