That was nice to watch.

I've follwed SU hoops since the Keith Smart (Indiana) nightmare in '87 (I was 14 and cried). I saw some great players when I was at the 'Cuse. Saw some really good teams and some not-so-good ones, too. And I can tell you that this team is really good. I haven't seen that much intensity out of a Syracuse basketball team in a long time -- if ever!!! These guys are scrappers and hustlers. And Jimmy B's got one of the deepest teams he's had in a long, long time. It's nice to see.

With NC's loss and Kansas' near loss, we may get some #1 votes next week. I don't really want to be #1 this early, but that would be cool to see. As long as we stay healthy and play with that much emotion most of this season, we should be able to get a very high seed in the tourney (1 or 2). That's all that matters.

I'm very excited for this team's chances to get to St. Louis.

I agree...I'm real excited for the rest of this season. Very deep team.

I hope to get to a game this year

Thanks for bringing up the Keith Smart play Coach. I was in a bar on Marshall Street as a college freshman and I've never watched the air go out of a balloon so fast.

As far as this group goes I agree. Jim has a deep scappy team that looks like it has the heart and the toughness to win.

It should be a great year.

:applause: Well that is a nice start to the season for the Orange (still want to put men on the end of that). Hopefully they can win there last game of the season, because that is the one they want. As for being #1 sometime, it really don't matter that much in basketball. It's nice, but you don't need it like you need it in football.
