Jro: Who are you voting for this November and why?
Mr.G: Mike Badnarik, but Gibb he's a libertarian. Yes I know and I know I have some disagreements with him on abortion and education but I like him. Plus DUH!-bya has to be punished for his sins against the American people and I don't see Kerry as having many answers. I think America is long overdue for a breath of Fresh Air and this is available from anyone except the big two and Nader who just likes to hear himself talk.

Jro: Care to go on the record and make a prediction for this election?
Mr.G: Bush 46%, Kerry 45%, Nader 6%, Badnarik 3%. Plus a month of questions and hateful dialogue and a virtual civil war.

Jro: Who would be your ideal Presidential candidate and running mate? Why?
Mr.G: Pat Buchanan and Colin Powell. Pat has the virtues of being an isolationist, opposing outsourcing, opposing overinvolvement in foreign wars and would only send troops to fight if we or one of our allies was in grave dangers and wouldn't try getting involved in the quagmire and endless cycle of nation building. Powell is a decent man and proved to be the most sane member of the current regime. He is a loyal spokesperson, intellegent, has great values and would be able to help us overseas. Not to mention that I feel that he is a great organizer.

Jro: You seem to be more middle of the road than most posters. What are your main problems with each side?
Mr.G: Hmmm, well where do I begin? The Republicans, well not the party in history or in general just these bunch of knuckleheads in office now, got us into a war on false pretenses which has killed over a thousand of our sons and daughters and wounded thousands more and has if anything made Iraq and the middle east less stable, not more. They give tax breaks to people and while I enjoyed that 300.00 dollars way back when I have to say well tax breaks are nice but what about that deficit? I mean in times of war you finance government mostly by raising taxes. I also don't like the GOP because of their ties and sympathies towards big business, I hate how they have said no child left behind and yet slice education. While the social programs admittedly help almost nobody rise out of misery, they do sustain people and it is wrong for the government to cut them without replacing them with something that will greatly advance them and society. I also don't like the fact that DUH!-bya seems to care more about the poor and needy in Iraq than he does here. Then there is the abortion and gay marriage question. I'm glad you say you are the party against these but why are you blaming the democrats for your failure to get these things passed? I mean you have the white house, most of the house and senate, and the majority of supreme court justices, but you do nothing because IMHO you don't want to because they are devisive and you can dupe Godly people for years into voting only for these issues while you let the poor be damned. Another thing is that the party used to be the one of limited government, responsible and independent citizenry, and morality but from things I've recently seen you have atheists, gays, abortionists etc and the GOP just seems to care about the pocket book. Finally Life, you must remember, does not end at birth so you must have social programs, responsible yes, but they must exist. Now to bash the Democrats. How can a party that claims to be for the helpless not stop the heinous act of murder that you call abortion? How can the party that says its for the integrity of the family be for gay rights? Why do the democrats only have social programs that are handouts that keep people enslaved for life and even for generations? Why don't you give hand ups like work fare for the poor, low cost child care for women looking for work with infants, more subsidized income based housing, internships and more low or interest free loans for college students? Why with the public schools in such a miserable state do we not give kids vouchers to see if they might be able to achieve elsewhere? Why welfare and not job training? Bottom line I hate both parties because they seem to have forgotten morality and how to help the poor advance and rise onto their feet so they may achieve the American dream.

Jro: If some WMD’s would have been found in Iraq, would the war have been justified.
Mr.G: Yes JRof, if we found wmds the war would be more justified, but only if the markings didn't ID them as made in the USA and if we could prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that He was planning to sell them to terrorists for use. Yes, the war would be more justifiable if we found these wmds. I could then say that at least the deaths of those soldiers was not for nothing.

Jro: Now that we are in Iraq, what would be your ideal way to finish and get out? How long would you expect it to take?
Mr.G: To finish Iraq we have a slow but steady withdrawl of American troops and we bring in Pakistanis, Jordanians, Saudis, NATO and we hand more authority to the Iraqi authorities because it is their nation and if they want it they must be responsible for defending it. I think Bush's plan is too long in taking, and Kerry well there's no responsible way to up and leave in six months we should leave within 12 to 18 months. Let Iraqis and Arabs police Iraq and lets go home. We should however begin a major pull out after the elections occur as we promised. Keep our combat troops there, but the nation building troops should be replaced by Iraqis ASAP and we should never see the 82 or 101 having to pave roads.

Jro: In the 2000 election there were claims of voter fraud from both sides. Fast forwarded to 2004 for, and we are still hearing of problems with voting machines. How confident were you in 2000 that the man who should have won did. And how confident are you today?
Mr.G: In 2000 I felt Bush won, and in 2004 although I have said otherwise at times still feel that it is more than likely that Bush won fairly. It was so damned close and it did involve Florida but other than that I think Bush won.

Jro: Going along the same lines, this election looks to be a tight race, many say how ironic it would be if Bush were to get more votes, but John Kerry receive more electoral votes. What are your thoughts on letting the popular vote decided the presidency?
Mr.G: I am firmly for the popular vote and an abolishment or major overhaul of the electoral college. There is always the danger in the electoral college that that that the electors will not follow the wishes of the populace and its vote. I would like a purely popular vote or a revision in the electoral college to where each electoral district is counted. Lets say you are in Missouri you have 12 electoral votes. This is fine but all voices should be listened to. It would be unfair to mostly democrat St. Louis, Springfield, and Kansas City to have their vote cast for the GOP just because the Rural Areas vote Republican and vice versa. Why not divide the states into districts so that you can have states with more fair electorates. That way there wouldn't be a battle ground state and candidates would have to talk to more people and would have to really answer the important questions. Or just drop the bothers of the college altogether and just use popular vote.

Jro: Liberals have been making noise about what they call ‘lack of free press’. Barbra Streisand has posted on her site right now, a article written by her detailing how she feels the press has let down the American public. Along side that, we have conservatives who are claiming the media has hit new lows. Citing the CBS ‘Momogate’ story as proof, they say the media is as liberal as ever. What are your thoughts on media bias? Is it a problem? And has the press let down the American public, by becoming so polarized?
Mr.G: The press is overly liberal in Bias, and Fox News is overly conservative in Bias. I find it a damn shame that most of the media in this country is ran by a conglomerate of 10-12 corporations. I like the internet because I can get more angles on the story and so yes the media bias has greatly hurt the informational access of the American people.

Mr. Gibberish. Interesting interview. We agree on so much yet disagree on tons of stuff. But you make good arguments and I respect that, and hence respect you. Keep on posting you really make me think about issues. The only issue that I have with you is you venomous hatred of Bush.
