HaHa, beat Michigan today, I bet no one expect to see that. I know, I for one did not, and I am an Irish fan. Hopefully this will propel Notre Dame to a winning season.

Me too, but that BYU loss is going to sting for a long time. Hopefully they learned alot from that embarassment

That's 2-1 for the Irish after beating Michigan State 31-24. Well, it was more like State beating themselves, but we will take it. Next week the Irish take on Washington which can't stop the run at all. Maybe this season won't be so bad after all.

Ev'rybody's building the big ships and the boats,
Some are building monuments,
Others, jotting down notes,
Ev'rybody's in despair,
Ev'ry girl and boy
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here,
Ev'rybody's gonna jump for joy.
Come all without, come all within,
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn.
I like to do just like the rest, I like my sugar sweet,
But guarding fumes and making haste,
It ain't my cup of meat.
Ev'rybody's 'neath the trees,
Feeding pigeons on a limb
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here,
All the pigeons gonna run to him.
Come all without, come all within,
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn.
A cat's meow and a cow's moo, I can recite 'em all,
Just tell me where it hurts yuh, honey,
And I'll tell you who to call.
Nobody can get no sleep,
There's someone on ev'ryone's toes
But when Quinn the Eskimo gets here,
Ev'rybody's gonna wanna doze.
Come all without, come all within,
You'll not see nothing like the mighty Quinn.
Brady Quinn with 4 TD passes in the first half as Notre Dame rolls Washington 38-3 yesterday. Quinn ties a record for the most TD passes in a game for a Notre Dame QB and sets a record for the first QB to throw 4 TD's in a half. The defense was very good as usual. Washington is a really really bad team this year, so that helped. A bit test for the Irish next week, and Purdue comes to South Bend.

An easy 27-9 win over undefeated Navy today by the Irish. It gets harder here on out, with games againts Boston College, at Tenessee, Pitt, and at USC. But 5-2 at this point is pretty good after last season.

Another game againts Boston College, another lose to Boston College for the Irish. Notre Dame had a 20-7 lead and lost 24-23. I don't understand how a team can keep beating another when there is different players. Thank God they are not playing for the next two years. If I were Notre Dame I would never play BC again, ever.
