I respect the WWE's ideas for getting people to vote, but it is funny how partial they are the the Republicans. They always say it doesn't matter who you vote for, but somehow slide in who they will vote for.

Ex. 1> HBK was on Fox News today talking about how he supports Bush, but then put out the official WWE line "it doesn't matter who you vote for just vote.
Ex. 2> Jerry Lawler a few years ago mentioning the Smackdown you vote campain, but then making fun of Al Gore.

I personally agreed with the comments of both, but if the WWE is going to be impartial in their get out the vote campain I think they should be more careful. Any thoughts?

BTW, this could be a reason why HBK didn't show up last Monday to interupt Kane's wedding. The WWE knew he would be at the RNC and didn't want to have to work him into Raw this week.

I get the Pro Wrestling Torch, and columnist Bruce Mitchell recently wrote on the whole Smackdown Your Vote campaign. Needless to say,he was not impressed.

Any initiative by the WWE to help get out the vote is a good move in my view. The WWE is run by a more conservative boss so I expect that there would be a small slant that way in it's presentation. There are other vote campaigns going the other way, like MTV's which is much bigger so it all balances out in the end.

You think the wrestlers could "choose sides" and the WWE could have fun with it.

They did that already...well sort of. Remember the whole Right to Censor angle, it was based on the PTC with was headed by former VP candidate Joe Lieberman.
