Raw 8/23

Horrible. The show has sufferred lately, but has had great main events (HHH-Benoit, Benoit-Orton) have picked it up. No such luck tonight.

1. Divas. At least it was somewhat amusing, due to the Rock. It was also a waste of the Rock being there. His promo was also a bit vulgar for the 9:00 hour, IMO, when kids could be watching.
2.HHH is in another Raw PPV main event. He keeps his perfect record of being in every Raw-only PPV Main Event. He really needs to let others have a chance, but it won't happen.
3. Edge-Jericho. Real good match. Crappy finish.
4. Flair-Regal. Flair has badly hurt neck at 55 and takes backdrops on the floor? He is nuts. Real good match.
5. The wedding. Horrible. Matt Hardy injury angle.This is one of the worst angles in recent memory.

Overall a real bad show. I hope this writing comes around and fast. And why can't Jericho, Benoit, Orton, Edge, etc. be in the main event mix without HHH?

cuz trips boinks vince's daughter lol.. triple h has power.. and i dont mean with muscles.

He could be 5'2 and 110lbs and be "the badest man on the planet" and he would still be in the hunt for the title. It makes me sick. Triple h is a good wrestler.. but he's one of the reasons i dont watch anymore.. cuz no matter who gets the belt.. will lose it to him atleast once.

It was an ok show,but that wedding was stupid. :rolleyes2 They shouldve brought back HBK tonight,which is what I predicted in the 'Kane,Lita thread' instead of at Unforgiven. It wouldve made more sense. I like Matt Hardy,but I think this was done to send him off again,because I read somewhere he needs time off for his injury.

I hope they keep some edge to Ortons babyface persona,but I do look forward to him putting Triple HHH in his place,nonetheless.

Horrible RAW. Only 2 matches tonight. HBK should have returned tonight.

There is no way Vince will turn to someone he is uncomfortable with, say a former WCW talent or younger guy in this time of rating peril. He will stick with guys like Taker', Angle and The Game and attempt to right the ship that way. I'm not saying that it will work, in fact I think it won't but that is the way he does things. Triple H will be at the top of RAW for a long time to come.

Why don't they just call it the HHH show ? Ratings are down and they continue to spend a third of every show around this guy. Just terrible. They need some new faces on that show.
