Which of these plays affected you the most? Which one broke your heart as a Bills/Sabres fan the most? Losing our first Super Bowl? Being knocked out of the Stanley Cup Finals? Rob Johnson's chance to lead us to the next round of the playoffs ruined by a questionable trick play? Or was it the goal that John LeClair scored through the netting a couple seasons ago in the playoffs? Maybe it was something else. If you mark OTHER, make sure you mention in your post what it was.

The nost disappointing moment in Buffalo Sports history is the day Gregg Williams chose RJ over DF as our QB.

oh gosh...if that's the worst moment in buffalo sports history, worse than losing the super bowl, then you are no bills fan.

When Mario scored in game 6 in may ,i thought they were done and i was right . No goal is up there ,along with mystery goal and juneau scoring for the caps in 98.

was when Tim Horton died in the car accident. Not much of a play but more heartbreaking than the missed Superbowl field goal or Brett Hull's supposed goal.

But I wanted everyone to know. I was at the hotel after a Dave Matthews show for the game. We had all been drinking very heavily. But apparently not as heavy as the referees. Because with all the alcohol in my blood, my vision impaired I stood up, jumped on the bed and yelled at the top of my lungs "HULL WAS IN THE CREASE!" It even took the sober announcers five minutes to realize that goal should not have been allowed.

C'mon think of it the Bills could have won a Super Bowl if that kick was true.No Goal would only have prolonged an overtime game that had Buffalo won would only have tied the series. My goodness, all the Bills and Marv and coaches holding hands on the sideline as Norwood kicked the ball. Then all the sideline in unison dropping their heads as it is signalled no good! Just ripped the heart out of Bills fans throughout the world!!!

No doubt about it .. Wide Right by a landslide !! Who knows what would have had happened if that kick went through. Thurman would have been MVP for sure and the momentum could have carried on forever .. maybe instead of losing four in a row we could have won four. But with all the heartbreaks from both teams I will never root for anyone else .. I will live and die a Buffalo Sports Fan !! But with all the bad things that have happened there sure have been a lot of good ones too ... Go Go Buffalo !!!!!

Definitely WIDE RIGHT! I see it so often and I always picture that it goes through and we win. No Goal, Music City Miracle, and Phantom Goal enrage me though.
No Goal I hardly ever see. I cannot picture the opposite happening. 50/50 chance of even winning Game 7. It would have been more difficult to lose it especially by a narrow margin.
Music City Miracle pisses me off only because the Titans went to the SB. Also, our players should have been more disciplined and it would have never happened. (Remember that SB: Kevin Dyson reaching one yard short. I couldn't imagine how I would've felt if that was, say, Peerless Price reaching!!)
And the Phantom Goal has the least affect. The win would have delayed the inevitable. We would have lost in 6 instead of 5. One year later with Kasparaitis was worse!

I'd have to say Wide Right, followed closely by No Goal.

The Bills' signing of Rob Johnson. Horrible. I'm still in therapy for that one.

Though No Goal was terrible...I'm still going to have to go with Wide Right. I remember everyone at our superbowl party just staring at the tv in silence. I was really young back then, I still wore my Buffalo Bills t-shirt to school the next day and was teased mercilessly (as I was after all four of the lost superbowls) but who cares! I knew most of them only cared about the other team because they were on top that year.... I wonder if any of them ever figured out what it means to be a fan of one team for longer than a year.
Ok enough of my ranting. :)

Bill's fourth super bowl appearance, they have the lead in the 3rd quarter, they are driving and another score to add to their lead looks inevitable, when Thurman Thomas fumbles and well...

I picked Wide Right. I was in shock when we lost a game we shouldve won. Heart-breaking and very tough to take. No Goal would definitely follow that one,but not too far behind. Another heart-breaker. I have nothing else to say on that except Bettman & the NHL screwed that one up BIG TIME!!!! Third one would be the Music City Miracle. I remember having to be at work that day and i had my radio on and when i thought we won we were all going nuts! Then when the Throwback hit and my jaw just dropped and everyone looked at me and thought i just lost my best friend.
